Not only does Jeremy shred Mammoth Mountain on his sit ski in the Winter, but he knows how to push the limits in the park and backcountry on his mountain bike. Watch as he progresses his skills from park MTB riding to Backcountry MTB riding and attempts obstacles we can only imagine. He has found that getting outside, learning new skills, and testing his physical and mental limits helps him cope with the claustrophobic feeling of being paralyzed.

Mad respect for this guy, more power to you! on a side note, i think a bicycle company should give this "tricycle" a shot at research and development, and put it out there on those big bike trade shows. I'm sure there's already awareness of bicycles of such nature, and they're reaching out on a another niche group of cyclists. So why not eh?

 The option for electric assist on the new bike looks like it would open up all sorts of terrain for you to ride now. This is one time (I would hope) that people shouldn't complain about electric assist on a bike. Props to you for not letting life get in your way.

 Ya i'm stoked on it for sure. At first i was anti but now i just want to keep up with my friends. Ya i don't foresee anyone having a problem with it. Might need to work something out with the Forest Service though for backcountry expeditions. We'll see!

 I would support electric assist in this instance, as long as there is a manual backup.

 Truly inspirational. Wish I had good friends like that. If I became paralyzed I have no doubt that my freinds would be all "that sucks" and would never look back, Glad this guy has the motivation and support behind him to do whatever the f*ck he wants regardless of what's trying to hold him back.

 All excuses for not going for a ride are now invalid. It has to be twice as gratifying to finally climb a hill by yourself as it would I with the option to hike.

 Where's some carbon manufacturer/clergy to step up and make this guy a lighter frame? Someone help out and get this man a seriously high tech carbon frame. Would be a tremendous help in amount of weight of that rig. Lets all donate to the cause?

 Impressive stuff! Imagine how awesome it will be when the wireless electronic MTB drivetrains hit the market for an application like this. You will be able to stay on the power with both arms while shifting! Now I am looking forward to that development!

 For whatever reason, the only thing that I can even think of is a quote from Shawshank Redemption: "Get busy livin', or get busy dyin'." Jeremy is clearly living, much more so than 99% of the population. When he looks back on his life, I can only think he will think of all he has done, not what he hasn't. I hope I can say the same.

I met Jeremy in mammoth about 7 yrs. ago... I was a sales rep selling product to the Bike Shop Jeremy was working at, Footloose ports!! I had suffered a real bad break and was going thru a reconstructive ankle rebuild. On crutches for over a year, 2 yrs. total. I would see Jeremy every trip I made to Mammoth getting on the lift, rolling around the shop and just Charging Life!!! He would take the time to ask how I was doing, Healing? and just getting on.... Truly one of the most Inspirational People I have Ever met!!

 @cebelar123, power assist is an option the manufacturer offers. I was just against it at first...ego. No i just want to keep up with my friends. Currently working on selling this bike so i can get one with power assist. Stay tuned...

 Also, have you ever skied Park City? It has one of the best adaptive skiing program around. I see over a dozen adaptive skiers every time I ski there.

 ABSOLUTELY INSPIRATIONAL JEREMY! You are crushing it!!! I know what you mean when you say you don't have to be in a wheelchair to feel claustrophobic. I work in a cubical everyday in an office with no windows and getting out on my bike absolutely saves me from mental breakdown.

 I stumbled up @jpmcghee 's instagram months ago. I saw pictures of him riding my local trails on his trike (which are steep). Completely blown away and inspired! He was an immediate follow! so cool to see your adventures on the daily! bummed they didnt mention that he also shreds the surf and snow, keep it up jeremy, looking forward to running into you out in north county on day!

 I was just talking to a friend that makes medical devices about how I went into engineering inspired by adaptive sports and especially off-road wheelchairs!This video being posted is even more reason to be inspired to do it, even if it is 16 years later! So inspiring, totally teared up!

 I could literally feel the rush when the climb was over and his hands grabbed the bars for the descent. We all get that feeling whether we are pedaling with our hands or our feet. What a human. What a fucking human! I vow to complain less from now on.

 @conv3rt Thank You!!! Yes, i can't wait to run fat tires on this thing. Rear likes to spin out a lot. The manufacturers are currently designing machined rear fork that will fit fat tire. Stay tuned...

 that is awesome! Watching that rear tire spin was heart-breaking. I assume that weight is a big concern. I know there are fat carbon rims out there and I'm sure you've got people helping with the bike design. I look forward to the new bike iteration!

 it IS heart-breaking! haha! Yes weight is a huge concern. Spinergy is good sponsor and they are working on a custom fat wheel for me. I'll probably need to get something to tide me over till that can happen tho. The manufacturers of this bike just came out with a new version and the geometry is much more efficient. Less spin out. I know that On One sells a 24" fat bike wheel too. perhaps a bit lighter than 26"? I think you get a 26" diameter out of it in the end.
