The inspiration to ride comes from many sources, yet nothing boosts excitement to shred like the thrill of exploring new trails. Jump aboard with Matt Hunter, as he journeys down from Canada to ride the world-renowned Pacific Northwest terrain.

careful - they might sue for defamation or slander or some other new law that their lawyers are trying to push through legislation any day now.... if they come knocking at at your door just use the parody clause and say you were imitating other people talking isht about the big S and were really making fun of those people.
its kinda funny how people are always rippin on specialized for defending their patents...Santa Cruz has aggressively gone after many who have sought to use their design as well...but nobody ever hates on them???!! Why is it so hard for people to understand that when a company spends an exponential amount of money to buy/develop a design, they are going to protect it? Every company in the world that owns/proprietary design(s) are going to go to great lengths to protect their investment...pretty simple really, but I guess people just need things to whine about......
Saw Matt on the trails on a day they shot video here in Bellingham (City of Subdued Excitement). Passed them as they were stopped, discussing logistics for the shoot. They easily caught up to me within sight of the top, and I said, 'Matt, you're killing my story. The one where I passed Matt Hunter on a climb and he couldn't catch up'. Yea, you got it, he slowed up saying he didn't think he could pass me, and let me finish ahead of him. Thank you, sir.
I'm pretty sure I left him in the dust on the descent...
Where's my bike...Where's my bike..Matt Hunter's video always makes me wanna go out and ride.. That relax and cozy atmosphere seems always there with him..
Schooled by Matt. After closing and sweep, two of us are standing on a lip, looking at a 40' gap in the Boneyard. Matt comes out of nowhere, says hey on they way by and sends it huge!! We look at each other, and say "maybe next time" True story.
What I miss the most are rad Matt Hunter videos. We need much more of it. I'm stocked to see Matty Miles shooting also, but honestly I'm a bit disappointed with this one. I'd like to see more riding and less slo-mo moments. Nevertheless, it's great to see these guys in action. And I'm still looking for the next Anthill movie and next sick Matt Hunter segment.
Have to disagree man. This own was more about the road trip and the vibe than killing it off big kickers onto vertical chalk walls that we ALSO love Matt Hunter for
I rode with all of them in Oregon. Well kinda...... Ant hill, called my buddy up. He's a guide for Oregon adventures.
Well me and my friend (he's 65) were planing to ride alpine. Well my guide friend called up,"I got some Canadian dudes, who need some showing around.".
So on the shuttle up, I was like "damn that Matt dude looks Familiar". He only said his name was Matt. Well we got to the trail and he took some pics of us, on his film cam. Well we shared the climb up. My old guy friend isn't a strong rider. So I stuck back with him.
At the end if the first trail, I was going to meet up with them for round two. But I couldn't find them. So I just headed home, well on the drive it clicked.
As I screamed like a psyco!'n "that was Matt f*cking Hunter!" Well I flaked on riding some gnar with a pro!!!!!! That's the best part! I flaked on a pro!!!!! Hahaha but the cool thing is. My buddy has his number, he plans to come back to Oregon soon.
So bummed I missed them, I got calls from everyone to show them around our trails in SW WA and I was in Cali at the time. Hopefully they roll through again when the weather is better and well hook them up proper.....CCMTB
Was he taking pics with a camera?? You can't tell me he doesn't have a smart phone. How the hell will get those pics onto Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest?? And what does he Strava with??
You're right. Any rider can wear whatever they want on a trail.
But you asked where the hate is, I responded that there is no hate because it is Hunter.

It may have just been low bit/rate or something.
looks like they generate more traction than ordinary trailer wheels
