Advent 2016 - Spawn Cycles - 7 December

7 December draw is now closed. The winner of the Spawn Cycles Kotori is Pinkbike user dpechter. Congratulations @dpechter

PRIZE DETAILS:

The Spawn Cycles Kotori has become the go-to bike for kids hitting the dirt jumps, skate parks, pump tracks and even BMX tracks across North America! One year since its release, the Kotori has been under 6 of 9 podium finishers on the pump track at Kidsworx at Crankworx Whistler (including age class winners, Lucas and Tegan Cruz), racked up a Sea Otter Dual Slalom title, UCI World 4 plate and USA BMX NAG 1 plate under Carley Young, and logged a bunch of airtime under Jackson Goldstone!

Advent 2016 - Spawn Cycles - 7 December

The Kotori has a burly 6061 T6 alloy frame with a hydroformed downtube, ISCG-05 tabs and sliding, bolt on rear dropouts, a Spinner Air OS fork with 30mm stanchions, Chromag's Vanguard junior specific handlebar, a Tektro Draco hydraulic disc brake out back, Kenda Small Block Eight tires, a Chromag Overture saddle, sealed bearings everywhere and 2 piece thru-axle cranks. A legit and versatile ride for groms that comes in at a super skinny 22 lbs.

Not entering, no kids, why take it from someone who could really enjoy it.
  • 11 0
I do that anyways. No point in winning something to put it on eBay. This far only entered for 2 things (dropper post and carbon cranks)

@Mattin: @Milhouse1050 Or win it and donate it to a local youth in your neighborhood.
  • 2 0
If you win you could donate it to a kid who wants/ needs a bike, or raffle it off for charity at a local bike shop.
  • 1 0
not so, surely you know some one with kids that you could give it to? If you happened to win.
  • 1 0
@ColquhounerHooner: . . . . kids that would justify a bike like this, sadly not.

My daughter is the smartest and most beautiful child in the world. If anyone cares she suffers from traumatic disorder of having a troll for a father. She deserves it.

 Waki's daughter - "Can I have a drink?"
Waki - "I don't know, can you?"
Waki's daughter - "God dammit."

Please just give it to the man

 @Patrick9-32:
-Waki's daughter: Father? will Santa Claus bring me a new bike?
-Waki: there is no Santa Claus my darling, it is me and mother buying the presents.
-Waki's daughter - oh no, but I guess that's fine father.
- Yes my child. I am so proud of you to face the reality of life. We have to abandon superstitions and instead embrace the fact that we all drift towards the inevitable void

@WAKIdesigns: a true troll, using his daughter for +/- votes

@dtax: I can say something that will give me downvotes: are you fricking retarded?
  • 18 1
Wakis Daughter: "Can I get a scooter daddy?!" Waki: "Down vote."

@WAKIdesigns: sucks when someone says something in these forums just to get a rise out of people huh?

Id say leave this one for the parents to enter in on. Or if you know a poor neighbor kid or something. Dont do it to sell it...

My riding buddy's four year old will be getting this when I win. He will appreciate it in a couple of years.

This is the one I want more than any others. Ripping trails with my daughter is a dream of mine.
  • 3 1
Oh yeah. My oldest daughter is six now, my youngest is four (five in a month). And all clothes and stuff that's still good gets passed on to younger kids among friends, neighbors and family. So if I win this, my oldest can just ride it, then the youngest and then it will hopefully be passed on to several more. I'll be having loads of riding buddies when I'm old Smile .

If I win this bad boy, it'll be underneath the tree of someone who needs it. Having worked in a shop I've witnessed the struggle parents go through to make ends meet and I think this would be a great surprise for someone in my community. I'd even be willing to take the little guy (or girl) out for a rip at the local trail network.

Thank you soooooo much PinkBike and Spawn! This bike is on its way to our house...home of 2 little shredders (ages 5 and 7) who mountain bike (on 20" Spawn Savages), and race bmx and cyclocross. It will get well used by 2 bike obsessed little shredders!

Both my kids ride bmx as i did as a junior. Would love to get them to ride some trails too! 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son! ( my daughter can beat my wife around the bmx track!! Haha )

Oh man, been looking at spawn for my kids but while being on the other side of the world is definitely good for a lot of things. Boutique kids bikes are not one of them. First world problems....

Probably a bit big for my 9 month old but he'll sure grow into it! They should have a model called the 'Of Satan'...

 Hot damn! Yes please!

I bought a Spawn Banshee for my son a few years ago. He as now outgrown it, but he loved this bike so much. He had the nicest bike of the neiborhood. He now has a Scott Scale 20" (Nino Schurter replica), which is quite nice, but heavy and far from the overall quality of the Spawn.
