Devinci (Finally) Announces New Spartan 29
@transitions-are-neat: And even if you damage your frame they'll most often replace parts for cheap. I got a replacement chainstay for 150$ like 3 years ago after I crashed it. Much better than buying a new bike.

Devinci (Finally) Announces New Spartan 29
@phops: yeah but production should also go up so prices should go down. Regardless. Ain't paying 5k$ for gx garbage. I'm riding a devinci that I bought new, I love it but sorry, at those prices I'll quit the hobby before I buy new again.

Staff Rides: Photographer Matt Wragg's Scott Spark
I'd love a more recent 120mm-140mm but usually, most of the components on those bikes are cheap XC lightweight shit that can't handle anywhere near the amount of abuse my bike goes through unless you spend 10k$ on a carbon everything setup. This is why I'm staying with my 26" 145mm frame. I've put it to my liking and buying another complete will have me changing most of the parts anyway. With the price of bikes today, I'll just buy tires/rear wheels every now and then and call it a day.

Kenda Helldiver Pro DH Tire - Review
Not sure if it is your case but a lot of trail/enduro oriented tires have more aggressive patterns but still weight about 600g so quite flimsy. Going for ~1000g single ply tires makes a big difference but you're adding 2 pounds to your bike.

How Do Pros Run Their Suspension - Hard or Soft?
It might not be the best way to learn but as you get faster, you'll feel you need to stiffen up your ride so there's some truth to that.

The pervs came out on her first few posts but they quickly found out this is about the only thing that doesn't fly around here. Honestly when I saw her first post I thought it was going to be a cringe fest but it surprisingly wasn't except for very few exceptions.
