$1900 CAD
2011 Trek Session 8 Great shape. Deemax wheelset. Avid Code brakes. 2014 Boxxer World Cup forks (perfect cond). Just ride it. Been collecting dust the last couple of years so rather see it go to use. Will ship. Buyer pays actual shipping costs.

Opinion: A Secret Trail and an Argument Against E-Bikes
Echoing what others have already said. It's really not complicated, add a motor to a bike and you have a motorized vehicle. Motorized vehicles should only travel on trails designated for motorized use.

Ask Pinkbike - New Brake Pads and All Mountain Flat Pedals
Did the same for a number of years thinking it was way too much money for shoes. Finally broke down for some 5-10s and there is just no comparison to the old skate shoes I was always wearing. My feet feel glued to the pedals now.

Pivot Mach 4 Carbon: XC Trailbike, Wired for Speed
I don't know, maybe I'm missing something but why do we need electronic shifting? I've never had a problem pushing my thumb sufficiently to activate a gear change. I even know people that can do it while pedaling.

Opinion: Further Faster - Thoughts on the Coming E-Ride Revolution
I'm lazy yet I don't want motorized vehicles on trails. The "evolution" of this sport would surely be better, faster motors, with more torque, higher speeds, etc., etc... I also love that fact that many trail efforts are supported simply because a human powered vehicle poses less threat to many of the people that have the power to allow, or disallow our ability to ride in an area. Yep, there's a place for these bikes but it's not on most of the local trail networks that we support as mountain bikers.

Opinion: Friends Don't Let Friends Ride E-Bikes
Yeah, I say whatever turns your crank. If I see a buddy of mine show up on one of these bikes, I'll laugh at him. And when his overly complicated POS gets rattled to Sht on real mnt bike trails, I'll laugh at him. But if he truly enjoys the experience of riding it, cool. I like motors so who knows, maybe I'll be the idiot on it one day...

I agree that the legal system isn't perfect. That's why my mom had the breadboard. I'm not saying hang the guy but a decent beating would be appropriate. Maybe make him walk a few miles in Lycra bought at Baby Gap.
