Cane Creek DBcoil [IL] - Crankworx Whistler 2016
Can we also put "confidence-inspiring" to rest? If I never see that phrase in a bike/component review again it'll be too soon.

$3400 USDThis is my baby. It's hard to part with her, but I messed my wrist up pretty bad in Whistler and will be out of commission for probably a couple years. Sigh. Anyhoo, this bike is absolutely amazing. It's a fantastic climber, but it descends like a champion. It never shuddered at anything I threw at it. The front wheel is pretty squirrely (from the same crash that messed up my wrist) but I can get a really good deal on a Stan's Flow EX if you want it. No extra. If you have your own wheel, that's fine too. Specs are below:
Frame: Alpha Platinum Aluminum w/ABP Convert, Full Floater, E2 tapered head tube, internal control routing, Stealth dropper post routing, ISCG 03 mount, magnesium EVO Link, Mino Link, 160mm travel
Front suspension: Fox Factory Series 36 Talas, FIT adjust damper, E2 tapered steerer, Kashima coating, 20QR thru axle, 160mm travel
Rear suspension: Fox Factory Series Float w/DRCV, rebound, Kashima coating, 8.25x2.375"
Wheels: Bontrager Rhythm Elite Tubeless Ready 28-hole disc wheel system, 15mm front hub, 142x12mm rear hub
Tires: Bontrager XR4, Team Issue, Tubless in the front, Bontrager XR3, Team Issue, Tubeless in the rear, 26x2.35" for both.
Shifters: SRAM X0, 10 speed
Front derailleur: SRAM X0, direct mount
Rear derailleur: SRAM X0, Type 2
Crank: SRAM X0, 36/22
Cassette: SRAM PG-1070 11-36, 10 speed
Saddle: Bontrager Evoke 3, titanium rails
Seatpost: RockShox Reverb Stealth, 31.6mm, zero offset
Handlebar: Bontrager Rhythm Pro Carbon, 31.8mm, 15mm rise, 9 degree sweep, 750mm
Stem : Bontrager Rhythm Pro, 31.8mm, 7 degree
Headset: FSA NO.57E, E2, sealed bearings
Brakeset: Shimano XT, 203mm disc in front, 180mm in rear
Pedals: Atom Lab PimpLite

Pinkbike Poll: The Demise of 26'' Wheels - Unnecessary Extinction or Natural Evolution?
I just did the same thing. It was amazing... until I broke my wrist on the second day. Such a friggin waste. Wear tons of protection, and don't push it too far, and you'll have a blast.
