First Ride: Knolly Chilcotin 6.0
@Grizzly134: For sure. I did the same when I got a Norco Torrent... recommended size was 480mm long, I've since swapped out to a Chromag with shorter reach. Would love to try them of course.

Seriously. The previous gen was looking like it would be the replacement for my aging Range (2018 frame). Guess that won;t be an option anymore. I like to prioritize low speed steep tech handling over the race-pace stability of these longer frames. I'm good enough to compensate for a shorter reach/chain stay length at speed. I'd rather maintain the feel and maneuverability of a more moderate length bike. Of course, not everything needs to be designed for me (and people looking for similar attributes)... but options are starting to get limited. I'd have to go down to a Small (in either travel configuration) to get a reach number that I'd even consider. I'm not tall, but at 5'9"... usually a medium is a safe bet.

Review: Squidworx Modular Flat Pedals
@youann217o: Not sure whether your issue is with the supremacy of Crank Bros 50/50 pedals in the 'multi-piece pedal platform' game or in regards to either my understanding of the use of quotation marks or with the conventions regarding commas when creating lists of quotes. For either of the latter, the Oxford University style guide may disagree with you. Check page 16 if interested. https://www.ox.ac.uk/sites/files/oxford/media_wysiwyg/University%20of%20Oxford%20Style%20Guide.pdf

Review: Squidworx Modular Flat Pedals
@blissindex: To add insult to injury, the British use single 'apostrophes' as quotation marks... unless quoting within a quote... then the real quotation marks come out. So as a good Canadian I use their comma convention and the American quotation mark convention. Keeps everyone on their toes. Glad to see all the other cool kids down here talking grammar and punctuation. Pedals are pedals. We all know Crank Bros did it best with the 50/50s.

@blissindex: Yes, in the American convention, that is true.

Nice to hear a bit more about a creative product by a local brand. However, I do feel that the editor needs to have another go at this article... some sentences are missing words (ie."...a few splashy thrown into..."), "Squidworks" is spelled incorrectly in one place, "... to unthreaded the pins...", etc.
