The young French riders from the Race Company, MIA Santa Cruz team had a great time in Madeira. Kilian Bron and Maxime Peythieu turned up to the small island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean to ride some awesome trails for ten days, they were not disappointed.
They got shown around by the locals from Bikulture Madeira, who shuttled them and showed them all the good spots. The trail map of the island is so vast that they didn't ride the same trail two days in a row. With a mix of rough and unexplored terrain on one hand and great man made jump trails on the other, both riders got what they needed from this trip.
The team normally produces a short 4min video from their trips, but here, they had so much footage that they chose to go for a longer approach that includes interviews and also more lifestyle to give a better insight to the trip and what a great time they had.
The riders would want to thank Oqamy VISUEL for the beautiful pictures and video, Bikulture Madeira for their warm welcome and all the team sponsors who made this trip possible:
Race Company, Santa Cruz, Julbo Eyewear, Hutchinson Tires, One Industries, SixSixOne, Novatec, X-Fusion Shox, Sun Valley Ski Wear, Muc-Off.

***please lets not begin to troll, just wanted to share my 2 cents***
@airsoftesneeto: I think that's a little harsh, it definitely pedals better uphill than a lot of bikes. Maybe not better than something like the HD3/SB6c mentioned above, but it's way better than my other bike which has less travel.
Nomad: if you want a mini DH bike that can still climb ... this is the ticket
SB6C: Not as much info there but probably pedals better than Nomad but not as capable
HD3: based on the excellent PB writeup ... likes a really good all arounder ... more capable on all trails though giving up a little on the DH side to the Nomad.
I guess the next step for me is to figure out what kind of bike I want ... currently riding a 2011 Tracer2 with a 160 fork up front and in 145mm mode out back due to my CCDBA cs fitting issues. I think the Nomad probably would be more like the tracer2 but better in many ways ... but I don't do as much dh stuff anymore so ...
