The 2016 Spring/Summer collection from Race Face drops into stores in the coming weeks; a collection of returning favorites and all new no-nonsense riding gear to support your shred habit.

SS16 title
Represent like a pro, the new Ruxton kit has your race run covered. Full sleeve jersey with sublimated graphics as seen on the UCI circuit. Matching race short and pant were developed and tested in collaboration with top World Cup racer Sam Blenkinsop.

Spread 1
Put the red in shred! Or roost out some berms in Sulfur Yellow.

Spread 2
Featuring a silicone gripper print to keep things up when ripping gets gnarly. And bonded protection strip for pedal strike and crank rub. Yes, we really did think of everything.

Spread 3

Spread 4
At home in the bike park, or keeping you cool on a trail ride, the Indy jersey has bright, fully sublimated graphics and keeps you comfortable all day.

Spread 5
Short sleeves for long days. Look just as good on your trail ride as you do in the lift line or apres ride. The Charlie Tech Top for women and the Trigger Tech Top for men; a technical take on the graphic tee.

Spread 6
When the weather gets gnarly the new Agent Jacket keeps Wade Simmons smiling. A 10k/10k waterproof/breathability rating keeps the rain out and the stoke in.

Spread 7
Women's DIY short and jersey combo. The short features a wide, figure-flattering waistband designed to accommodate individual body shapes, whether you have a slim frame or curvier physique.

Spread 8
This pull-on style hugs waists without bulky snaps or zippers at the fly making it incredibly comfortable for long days in the saddle. New this season, a draw-cord adjustment system with welded eyelets inside the waistband.

Spread 9
The Khyber kit continues! A huge favorite from last year is back with the addition of this "plenty of pop" Grape colourway.

Spread 10
And the good kind of reversible clothing... Ninja black and polka dots. Got a multi-day trip planned but only room for 1 kit? Boom, we got you covered, literally. Just flip this shirt inside out and you've got a whole new outfit.

Spread 11
Kill it on and off the bike, the new water-repellent Scout Jacket is tech enough for riding (8k/3k waterproof breathable membrane) with street style.

Spread 12
People say it's what's underneath that counts...or is that what's inside that counts...anyway...check out the latest addition to our popular storage range, the new Stash Liner for women. Vented panels, Italian Chamois, zippered pocket at back lumbar and added storage for essentials.

Spread 13
Black camouflage jacquard knitted fabric off-set with purple contrast stitch and zips. Admit it, we had you at camo...

Spread 14
Warm up with the new Stacked or Mountain print, organic cotton Cru sweatshirts.

Spread 15
Add a little polish to your Canadian Tuxedo.

Spread 16
Unless you're an OG gangsta, you need to keep your pants up. Shooter belt does it in style. Then rep your Race Face love with the 10-4 cap and Surfer Tee...

Spread 17
Shop short... Indy socks and Porter hat.

spread 18
Okay... One more awesome photo to finish up. You're welcome.

anyone else out there want riding jerseys that aren't brightly coloured with splashes of fluro even sometimes?
  • 51 6
Absolutely. Secret is to just wear normal t-shirts.
  • 20 4
Yes!!! I knew I wasn't the only one. The matching tops and bottoms these days have us look more and more like POWER RANGERS when we ride. I'd prefer more simpler designs, but hey have you seen some of the moto gear lately, it could be much worse lol. On a positive note, diggin' the casual line...

I just buy running tops. A quarter of the price, do the same job and have subtle branding.
  • 7 1
There's Club Ride if you want neutral tones. I own a couple jersey's from them that I ride with and work with.
  • 3 0
They do offer some black options in the 3/4 Indy jersey for the less 'loud' riders out there
  • 8 0
Then again, when you're hitting a bottle of Jack that hard on a ride, you might need a little help seeing your riding buddies.

When will companies start selling helmet straps in form of a beard...

What blueprrinttt said. Running tops are cheap, have a raglan cut, and breathe well. I have a handful ready for summer months. Usually about $10-$15 if you know where to look. Solid colors, and usually a small chest logo, if any.

I just wear normal t-shirts too. I don't know who is buying all this fluoro matching stuff, I see bugger all of it on the trails.

The 5 year t-shirt life cycle is fundamental: buy t-shirt -> wear in public -> wear at home -> wear riding -> bike rag. Can't use them fancy fluoro slippery things as rags!

 POC..

I did my deal of riding in cotton and quite frankly I prefer polyester than feeling soaked wet as if I tossed the T-shirt into the mud pool. Each to their own, I find neon or most of Enduro clothing quite whatever (nothing to write home about, neither negative or positive, let people wear whatever the hell they want to wear) but I do like the drying factor of synthetic clothing. Style wise there are very few things more stupidly disgusting than TLD race kits from 2008-2010.

One word MERINO,doesn't stink, wicks great, dries fast, keeps you warm and is great on the skin.Mons Royale actually make some riding jerseys from Merino.
  • 1 0
Hahaha. Bang on the money but you forgot the optional bonus stage of DIY clobber.
  • 2 0
Merino is fantastic but it wears out quickly, unless someone makes the collar, sleeve and bottom out of another material so it doesn't tear so quickly. I use one per year and I can accept that but still, for that matter it is quite pricey.

Hey Waki not sure what brand your using but i've had good luck with icebreaker, the current base layer that i am using is 1.5 years old and is showing no sign of wear, but i do wear a polypro jersey over it.
  • 2 0
Hehe, my long sleeve Ice-breaker in 200-ish got a tear by the neck. Then short sleeve Smart-Wool got a small hole on the shoulder after a tumble, and it developped to an inch long hole over 3 months or so. I still use it and will use them in the future since temperature tolerance of merino is amazing (both in too cold and too warm), as well as it dries as well as synthetics. But it's wearing out on me Razz
  • 2 1
Waki is totally right. Icebreaker and Smartwool both wear out extremely quickly and that's following all the manufacturer instructions on washing, drying, hanging, etc. I have polyester shirts from forever ago but my 2-3 yr old wool stuff is full of holes. Of course the polyester stuff smells like shit and I love the wool but it doesn't hold up well for the price. Hell, I still have a smartwool pro deal from when I worked in the outdoor industry and I barely use it because the stuff is still ridiculous at half off.
  • 3 0
I simply save merino stuff for the "more important" rides these days. If I'm not sure about the temperature or just going away and wanting a bit of luxury. But on regular rides I go for polyester. Also not all plastic shirts are made equal. Some smell like crap and some don't. The stuff I have from Polartec (not the fleece, rather their own "breathable" jersey-like stuff) is fantastic just like my older TLD stuff. But the Oakley XC jersey - Oh my Gawd. 1h quick ride and it smells worse than changing room on the gym after long spinning class

I've had good experiences with icebreaker but not so much with smartwool.I think the washing wears them out prematurely.I don't wash them untill they need it.
  • 1 0
Most manufacturers make a plain black option in their jerseys. I have black ones from fox, Race face and Dakine. All are easy on the eyes and if you get them off the sale rack they're cheap.
  • 1 0
I definitely don't mean to bash on RF. I have their knee guards, and they have saved me many times. I've heard good things about their harsh weather (rain) clothing too. And yes they do have more neutral tones like navy, black, gray.

Damn, who is this girl with purple shorts and black t-shirt with white dots? I think I fell in love! ♥

^lol...Or we could just get the Universe back in balance with a "Wade is mighty purdy too!"
  • 8 1
I personally don't think plum is her best colour,it seems to be masking her natural earth tones.

Say there, you got a mighty purty mustache.

Love that they use local BC girls

Girls products are way better looking than the guys bits! Loads of lifestyle-esque but technical girls products, while the mens is full on race-esque.

I don't claim to be an expert on women, but there's one thing I know that the ladies just can't get enough of: really strange looking tan lines from their gloves. Race Face has absolutely nailed it in this regard.

  • 1 0
 Chilcotins for the trail riding...
  • 1 0
 South Chilcotins.
Relay Creek, Graveyard Valley and more. Recognized quite a few of the trails in the video. Can't wait to get back out there later this season. Last year we did a 7 day, self-supported trip from Taseko Lake to the Fraser. Here are some pics from 2015 and 2013, same trails:
