 Sweet location but, wait...what?
Title of the video I'm thinking Guns N Roses, then you throw someone doing an Ozzy song..... I'm so confused

Should've just thrown Guns N Roses...

That version of Paranoid was not disappointing; but the title of the video did strongly suggest the Gunners.

Way to Boost, Joost!

Does that fork even work ?? Looks like it doesn't move much...

 Right?!

Haha, i come from BMX and 4X, so i run al my suspension very hard. Believe me the Manitou forks work very well but i just run them with a lot of pressure.

Agreed. Thought GNR, sweet. Then got upset. Then though, Black Sabbath sweet. Then back to upset. Then good riding. So I guess I'll finish the video.

Joost, don't take this personally, but it's been raining all day here, by the time I got home it was dark and raining and my evening ride was was slow and mud filled. I hope you had a wonderful time but I HATE YOU at this particular moment.

Probably the most upright jump position I've seen

When it comes to Sabbath, never pick a cover over the original. Great riding, though.

Does this guy look goofy when he's riding, or is it just me? Cool video. .......little confused by the title/song choice though.

It hurts when pickle juice lands in your eye.

This video proves how important the music is ...it just makes you go out and ride !

riding to a black sabbath tune is badass, while riding to a cover of a black sabbath tune is not
  • 1 0
You just cant start a Welcome to the Jungle named vid with a sabbath cover!!! You just cant.... Nice riding tough.

He can't hide his 4x origines, the way his bike sticks to the ground on the little bumps, just to maintain speed. Love it!

 @psmithski It's because i am a former BMX and 4X rider. I don't like soft suspension, i have a good fitness Wink

Looks like someone lost their riding shoes.. That or Joost prefers Vans classics on Mallets and dirt bikes
  • 8 0
Haha, nope didn't forgot my shoes. Those are not Mallets. I am riding Crankbrothers 50/50 flats here.
And yes i like to ride with my Vans classics shoes, nothing beats the Vans Classics... well untill someones pays a lot of money to let em ride their shoes Wink

cool video apart from the song

nice, can't wait to ride those trails again...

I think rotorua has some of the most packed and smoothest trails
  • 4 1
The redwoods has some pretty buttery trails for sure. The complete lack of rock in volcanic soil makes for great compaction and just a tiny bit of moisture give you tremendous amount of grip. The forest does have it's share of gnar though, specially roots. Go ask the riders that did the EWS round earlier in the year.

Look up EWS Rotorua corner carnage @pigit77 and you'd redact that comment...
