Commencal Part Ways with George Brannigan
I feel that companies should be singular when you write about them as a whole; but, generally, there's nothing wrong with using a plural pronoun when you are writing about themselves (as individuals). It rather depends on the writer's perspective rather than grammar per se. What's important is when you use them as a singular pronoun, you should likewise use a singular verb in the same context. Same goes for a plural pronoun, use a plural verb. Otherwise, it'll sound weird to say the least.
However, from the title above, I think that Commencal should have been used as a singular collective noun since from a business perpective the whole company will no longer do business with Mr. Brannigan, not just certain individuals.

Already excited for next year with VDP going full time XC. He's a legit contender and possibly a future legend as well.
