Some have said there's only one line down this mountain, which means any little mistake is going to cost dearly come race day. It also means that to make it to the top of the podium you need to ride on the very edge of what's possible on a downhill bike.
Get a taste of what's to come with the video above then check back on race day for what promises to be one of the fastest, closest races of the season.
Gees line over the stump was sneaky. So precise. If he doesn't pull up enough or does it to early/late that could be bad news. Crazy how small it looks but how significant a role it plays
Walked the track yesterday, looks way more difficult as it might seem in the videos!!! So excited for the race today. It's gonna be awesome no matter who wins...
I have a piece of crap laptop that all the Red Bull vids run perfect on. My phone and ipad are always flawless, also (better be for the price tag on them). I have seen many a complaints about the Red Bull vids but have yet to experience any issues. Even when I sit at the bar in a full brew house to watch the races the vids are still perfect on my ipad. Don't know what to say except Gwin for the win!
(today will probably be the day my feed sucks ass)
As much of a pain in the ass the RB player can be at times (it wasn't working for me last wkend) there is no one else giving us FREE coverage of WC races.
I doubt there was much competition for the rights and the red bull coverage is years ahead of freecasters. Look at all the coverage we get over the course of a weekend now. Getting Formula 1 coverage in Ireland is now harder and more expensive than watching the DH world cup. That is amazing.
Using firebox it works like a charm no issues. A big part of how it runs will be determined by your internet speed too. Live streaming needs to be pretty quick if you want it in HD.
Works fine on Chrome for me.
And Red Bull owning the rights means....we get to see it. Freecaster didn't lose the rights to Red Bull, they couldn't afford to keep doing it. I love the build up coverage - both RedBull and other peoples short videos are great to watch then the coverage itself is good too - shame we cant see more of the track but I understand that time gaps and so on make it impossible. Seemed like at MSA that the decisive part of the track for both men and women was the top section where there was no footage.
Actually I tend to have problems with the redbull app in the past.
I found if you are watching in a phone go through safari to the direct link not via the app. I always got better results that way.
Just play raining blood from Slayer during that run, and he will smash it ahah
As are you watching the same resolution on both?
(today will probably be the day my feed sucks ass)
Is it mostly safari users having the problem?
