 I find it often unbearable to listen to professional athletes speak. There are some exceptions.

 That wasn't just beer on the podium, that was Oscar Blues beer. They stepped up as beer sponsor for the weekend, took a tub of cold ones to the GT tent for the post race party and had free beer in the VIP lounge. Don't remember a champagne company ever doing that nor have I seen too many mtn. bikers sippin' that shit after a ride either. You gotta support the people that support us and Oscar Blues is owned and operated by mountain bikers and themselves do more for us than all the sillyassed champagne companies put together. So hell yeah to beer on the podium- perfect match.

 So delicious. I got a free Dale's Pale Ale cuz I was wearing my Deviant Dale's bike socks for my XC race! Met the regional rep for OB and he was a really cool dude, really stoked to be at the event.

 Well I guess this is as close to a replay were gonna get... o well! That was awesome! Thought gwin had it, til ratboys first split came up, than was like o shit no........but than like hell t\yeah...........ratboys on a run.....just so sick! 2wks time is gonna be intense! Cannot wait, Really hope gwin gets a win....world champ would be fu awesome!!!!!!!!!

 I'd like Gwin to win it, would be an atonement for him but so stoked for Ratboy too. He's steping up and let's hope he'll keep it up Smile

 Plus the brewery that sponsored the event (Oskar Blues) actually does a lot to support the mtb community. They even build bikes right at the brewery (www.reebcycles.com). I'm fine with them replacing champagne.
