What year would you say the frame is ? Any rust inside it ? How tall are you to ride the 18.5 frame? Thanks, Dan

Hi from North Bay Ont. Love the bike, I'll be going out there later this fall , if it's still there, I'd love to see it. What is the other one you have ? My nephew is in Richmond as well. Thanks , Dan.

Thanks for replying, I got the originals ,after all, from the guy who sold me the frame. Your stuff would have worked as well with a little tinkering. Thanks anyway. Dan

First, sorry about mt bad english (I'm a frenchspeaking). I'm 6'2'' and have a 92mm inseam. I think the bike fits me well. You definetely need to measure at least 6' to ride this frame. The previous owner told me that no maintenance was needed for the rear ''shock'' but a cleaning once in a while (I think it's an Elastomer). A bit of grease may help to keep it working good. I rode the bike only about 100km for light cross-country so I never did any maintenance (I rode it for this summer only). It works really well. I had a Rock Shox Duke U-Turn (63 to 108mm) on it. I still have it but the steerer tube is too short for me (7'1/4). There is no room for a single spacer. Hope it answers your questions.

How tall are you ? Inseam ? Does the soft tail require maintenance or lube ? What fork did you have on it ? Thanks Dan.

Hi from North Bay, Do know if this brake would work on an older GT mtn. bike, the seat stays have the brake posts situated for a U brake. Do you ship stuff ? I bought a similar brake assembly for my bike but it uses a noodle side pull cable like a regular V brake , it has no power set up this way and I'm a big guy ,not a kid. I'm restoring a vintage 1990 GT steel framed mtn. bike with z-5 bombers on it and it's single speed, cool old bike. No bike shops up here handle the right parts to work for me. Let me know when you get a chance....thanks, Dan.
