Gravity Components is located in the Pacific Northwest, in a small town on the Puget Sound just north of Seattle. Within a few minutes from the office there is great access to a variety of different trails from Dirt Jumps and All Mountain to Downhill lines. Gravity employees Scott Kemp and Mike Lawless take you to their local spots, while Pro Downhillers Kyle Thomas and Charlie Sponsel show you a private session at their local bike park, Steven's Pass. Gravity Components incorporates their Northwest culture into many of the things you see from them today!

Gravity T-Shirt Contest

Over the past month Gravity conducted its first ever T-Shirt design contest. All you had to do was to submit a design for a new Gravity T-Shirt to their Facebook Page, and you could win Andrew Taylor Signature Bars, Stem, and Seatpost!

Gravity T-Shirt Contest Winners

bigquotesWe liked so many of the T-Shirt designs that came in, we couldn't choose just 1 winner, so we chose 3! - Gravity

Sergi Caldela Jose submitted multiple designs and 2 of his designs took home 1st and 2nd place. Raihan Brkafse submitted the 3rd place design. Each of these contestants will be receiving the AT Signature Kit and a couple of their winning T-Shirts.

Thanks to everyone who entered the T-Shirt Contest and stay tuned to Pinkbike.com and www.ridegravity.com for more contests and ways for you to get involved!

 Legalized??? or medical?
  • 30 0
Legalized for recreational use, so you know... Before school, after school... Before work, after work... In the morning, before bed.... Before sex, during sex, after sex... You get the idea.
  • 5 1
for a long time Canadians used to brag about access to good weed and the limited criminal penalties... we're off the back now, but hopefully we catch up... good for you guys though - no more wasting resources and $ on pretending it's a crime...

It's true tho, they do have beautiful trails etc....when it isn't raining/snowing lol.

Did I see Japanese Gulch in there somewhere?! Used to live in Mukilteo and loved having such a great riding spot so close to town
  • 1 0
it looked like the gulch to me!
  • 1 0
it was.. alteast part of it, the part where he rode over the cut log in the begging of the video was the gulch, super fun trail.
  • 1 0
That's what I was thinkin'. Haven't ridden the Gulch in more than 10 years! Got the chance to ride with the Diamondback crew at Stevens a few times this summer - super rad!

Anyone remember the titertoter over the white pickup truck? I built that at my house when I was 17 and hualed it out there. I built most all of those stunts out there along with Kris and the crew from Tim's Bike Shop. It was a sad day when they ripped all the stunts out. Watched all that hard work just disappear.
  • 2 0
@zalgrath - I definitely remember the teeter. I have a pic of my buddy riding over it somewhere in my stash of stuff.

Looking for a new place to ride in the local area of my state.. Stevens looks good... Ive skied there 10000000 years ago... The trails up there are gnarly, Ive used motocross bikes in those woods in the old days... its insane..... So rich and lush in greenery... And the soil and ruts have to be some of the best in the world...

I live in a great place up near Vancouver, BC but Seattle and the surrounding area are awesome. Great people and great riding! Glad to see Gravity set up in Mukilteo.

Ahhhh good to live in Washington, you got sick trails (especially when wet), great riding community, great scenery, and know we have what NorCalDH just said.
  • 1 0
Gravity or some other NW company should get Danny Macaskill to come ride all over the standard pre-requisite Pike Place Market opening video shots. Like, bunny hop tail whip over the flying halibut.

if you can get through the fall and winter here it is paradise
  • 2 0
And the fall and winter lasts way too long! I tried it but couldn't handle it. Favorite part of living there is the proximity to Whistler, but even that isn't enough!
  • 2 0
The fall and winter does last way too long! I'm originally from the bay area but call the Seattle area home now. For 8 months out of the year I'm dropping F bombs about this place trying to figure out how I can make it work back in the bay area but when it's nice here there's no place I'd rather be. Just wishing the Puget Sound had some surfable waves Smile
  • 1 0
I know a few people that go out to the Peninsula to surf. I could hook u up with them so u can get ur wave fix.

I love it. Sad though. If I move out there my DB Mission won't be rare.

Though it IS pretty cool to see them out and about. I usually give a 'hey nice bike' when I see another Mission. I have an '09 and I love it.

  • 2 0
 Dude google that shit!!
  • 1 0
well for me, whistler is an hour and a half! but i was just wandering cuz i might do the nw cup there next year, thanks
  • 3 0
Do the NW Cup. We have some good courses here.
  • 1 0
i did the 3rd pro grt in port angeles this season its just really expensive to come all the way down there, but if its just past seattle then its not to bad..
  • 1 0
It's NE of Seattle. Google "Stevens Pass Ski Area" in Maps. It's probably easier to get to than Port Angeles - no ferry needed.
