16 year old MS Mondraker Development Race Team rider, Andrew Dorrit, is an amazingly determined and talented rider for his age. This year alone he has been on the podium in his category at both rounds of the British national rounds (BDS).

Little Dog from the MS Mondraker Development Race Team putting his moto background to use during today s shoot at Descend Bike Park Hamsterley. Edit will be out in the next few days or so Like my page to keep updated https www.facebook.com pages Robbie-Giles-Media 210634402356799 ref hl
Dorrit's extensive background in motorbike trials set him in good stead for riding downhill, where the style he has inherited from moto is very apparent in his riding. A local to Hamsterley forest, he sure knows how to shred the trails.

A snap from filming the other day.

Filmed and edited by Robbie Giles Media.

Looking back at Gwin and Hart both having moto background, something tells me riding moto suggests your body and mind to be on another level of how to maneuver a bike in general at high speeds, example the stylish riding that we see!!

It says moto TRIALS though. Which is not high speed. On another note, I'm 16, I work my ass off and put everything I have into biking. I don't mean to take anything away from this dude, 'cause he rips and is definitely faster than me; but it bugs me just a little to see these kids who are riding on their parents' money get featured just because they have videographers willing to film them. I'm not saying everyone deserves to be on the front page, but I've seen plenty of amateur edits that had equally good riding. Just because they don't have fancy camera angles and color effects and whatnot doesn't mean that they deserve little to no attention. My point is, I think it would be great if PB could have a feature for amateur edits every week.

Sigh. That's what Movies for Your Mondays is for dude. I've worked hard to get to where i am in terms of filming, so it is slightly aggravating when you refer to my videos as 'fancy camera angles'. This video is on here because it is a good video. I didn't film dorrit because he is on a team, I did it because i know him and he is a shredder. Take a look at my other videos, they feature amateur riders too. Next time take a second to think before you start hammering your keyboard.

 @ ahembomb7

"but it bugs me just a little to see these kids who are riding on their parents' money get featured just because they have videographers willing to film them."

If you dig a little deeper here, you'll find that all the riders that are on the MS Mondraker Development Race are there because of their talent and supported through sponsorship. One of his team mates is Frazer McCubbing who is ripping shit up with 1st places in the Juniors (do a search)! His parents aren't what you call "rich" - but he's 16, and still works with his parents in their local shop/cafe. Not someone I would say is "riding on their parents' money".

And also, they don't ride for Mondraker, It happens to be a pay in team and you get a team bike and jersey and race support etc. F8 Managment.

sorry but tbh i was on andy ward's (my wc team mechanic and founder of "ms mondraker development team" last year and progressed on to ride for ms mondraker team. the team andrew dorrit is on is the youth development team for young riders not old enough to ride world cups yet. it includes a full team replica bike. correct- the dev team is on a "buy in" scheme but even so the support they receive and opportunities that they have access to is priceless! i was going to be on this team this year but andy ward put my name forward as a junior to ride on the world cup team and couldnt believe it when i was asked to ride for them. i was more than happy to still ride on the development team.
