Ken Block's Custom Demo 8
I wear DCs still, super comfy. Anyone who judges someone on their shoes should probably grow the fuck up anyway.

Pinkbike Poll: Re-cycling?
Cardboard isn't so bad, it can be recycled fairly easily, it's more cellophane and small plastic that comes on components that really isn't necessary - you know it's going to go straight in the bin. Over here, cardboard is fairly widely recycled so it's not such an issue. Clothing is really bad for that too, every t-shirt or pair of gloves comes in its own individual cellophane bag. Really winds me up.

Pinkbike Poll: Re-cycling?
This one is pretty hard, I'm increasingly aware of my impact on the environment - driving my car for example, but where I live it's difficult to get by without one, particularly if you want to go riding. I work in a bike shop now, and the amount of waste I see is astonishing - we don't do that much servicing, but even so, the amount of old parts, tyres, tubes etc. that go in the bin is shocking, though we do our best to recycle it - take it to the scrappies etc. The bit that really gets me though is all the unnecessary plastic packing on products. It doesn't need to be there. Companies claim they're 'green', but punt out all this plastic crap which is inevitably just going to go to landfill 90% of the time. Does my head in, something really needs to change.

Nukeproof Electron Evo Pedal - Review
Not a fan of the lack of spanner flats. Allen keys/bolts are way too easy to round off, especially if you're a bit ham-fisted and/or have cheap allen keys. It's much easier to make accurate/cheap spanners that don't round bolts off. The pedals themselves look great though - or they would if I ever rode flat pedals any more.
