bigquotesDeveloping talented riders has always been at the core of what the Madison Saracen Factory Team is all about. With the Factory team, that's moved on to helping some of the UK's top riders improve at the highest international level. We've continued to keep an eye on the young talent coming through and felt it was the perfect time with the current crop of UK youth riders, to start a Madison Saracen Development Team. Giving Matt and Jack an opportunity to enjoy a race weekend and do their best without the concern of equipment or kit and with the backup of the Factory Team riders and experience to draw from as well as team mate Jack Geoghegan, who has a wealth of experience to pass on. National racing is a family affair and we are excited to welcome our new arrivals! - Will Longden, Team Manager

bigquotesLast season meant a lot to me because I was at the top end of my category. I knew I was capable of smashing out winning runs however some races didn't go my way and I ended up having some DNF's. When I got the call from Will and the team I was so stoked! I've heard how awesome the new Saracen Myst is and how good the team was to back it up. Having Will as my Team Manager is a great privilege and the opportunity to ride alongside Jack Geoghegan and the World Cup riders should teach me a few things. The 2014 season isn't too far away so it's time to put the hours of work in. Bring it on! - Jack Tennyson, Team Rider

bigquotesMoving up into the Elite category for 2014 is exciting for me, I raced Elite a few years back before an injury so I know what is needed. Being part of the Madison Saracen Development Team is great and I hope that I can help the young guns not only improve their riding and help them learn how to develop their racing skills, but above all have fun doing so! Being involved from the start with this set-up I'm sure I'll be able to continue developing the already awesome Saracen Myst! - Jack Geoghegan, Team Rider

Al, these are two of the fastest young guns on the BDS circuit, the fastest circuit in the World! The big companies have noticed them racing on a bigger stage and realise the potential of these 14 year olds. Invest long term with them now, with all fingers crossed come the Junior World Champs in a few years time and podiums or even Gold medals can be the rewards. Use Manon Carpenter as a definitive case study if you so wish. We should be thanking any company that supports the racers of the future, not just with bikes but race kit, race fee's, mechanic, tools, spares, training, nutritional and mental advice and so much more. Not firing canon balls at them.

Good point well made Si. The British revolution is beginning to gain momentum, SPSyndicate etc... Keep them coming bike brands!!!!

If we can all get fit over the Christmas break we should be seeking entry into the BDS this year mate. Either way, see you in Whistler next year??

Super to see, awesome for the sport, very deserving riders no doubt and this kind of boost at an early stage is vital for long term succsess - look at any 'big' sport like athletics, swimming, rowing, even football - camps, funding, and importantly mentoring from a young age - stoked for them!

My point at the top was directed to someone knocking Saracen for 'giving' away DH bikes to 14 year old kids. Whose original post has now disappeared for some reason (not my doing).

Sorry my reply was meant to be to "alazamanza". No idea why he is slagging off a company who are helping out young riders.
