World Cup downhill racer and Banshee team rider Forrest Riesco pins it down just one of the amazing tracks that the North Shore of British Columbia has to offer. Forrest is hot off his first real season on the World Cup downhill circuit with some impressive results and is already training hard for the 2015 season. At just 20 years old he already has a ridiculously smooth style and obvious determination.
Except he skipped the skinny! Wtf man? Skinny or die, North Shore brah. Oh well, it was a pretty sick edit otherwise. Is he this steezey on the WC trails? If so, he's got one of the best styles on the circuit. Loved the steep rock rolls, that place looks sick.
Great riding and vid. I'd love to see an edit that followed the trail top to bottom though instead of jumping around all over the place. That way you'd learn how to ride the trail a bit better.
Too many awesome shots to comment about! Love the rowdiness of the chest cam, and that POV on the roll-down, ladders etc. made me tighten up just watching. Then the front wheel-only roll down - sheesh... Great edit!
That rock roll is so steep that most people end up rolling down it front wheel only, especially since there's a 2 foot roll right at the top of it, easily one of the scariest features on Cypress.
I was always wondering… You guys from BC must be spending 95% of your riding time, pushing bikes up those hills, to get this 5% sweetest riding in the world, aren't you?
At Cypress (where this was filmed) there is a paved road that goes up the mountain. Go with friends and no pushing required. 100% sweet sweet trail riding!
