Scott Enduro Team

The team in the starting blocks 2015 enduro season begins this month for the Scott SR Suntour Enduro Team. The opportunity for us to give you some information which should draw your attention…

Good things always come in threes: welcome to Rudolf Bierdermann! Rudolf - called Rudy – joins the team and will ride with Rémy Absalon and Elliot Trabac this year. Rudy – 28 years old – comes from Switzerland and has previously distinguished himself in XC and DH. Knowing how to handle all bikes of the Scott range, Rudy will take part in many Enduro races this year, including 5 EWS.

Elliot Trabac, always ready, will represent the team in Enduro this year too. He will ride in the U21 category for EWS (this new age group 17-20 replaces the junior 16-18 category). You could also encourage him on the Enduro Series French cup.

Studious winter

During the off season, our pilots maintain their physical fitness with muscles strengthening, running, skiing and… biking of course!

In order to work his agility and explosiveness, Rémy took part in the Greenhouse Race (Pump Track Urban Race in Switzerland). He competed against dirters, BMXers and downhillers such as Roger Rinderknecht, Michal Prokop or Brendan Fairclough …

Rémy was also at la Maçanet (Spain) for a particular enduro race: only on invitation and in a friendly atmosphere, riders competed against each other but just for fun (no ranking and podium, only stopwatch to know who pay the beer at the end of the day ). It was perfect to get into the swing of things with his rivals and friends like Jérôme Clementz or Damien Oton...

First EWS stop will take place in Rotorua – New Zealand – Saturday March 28.
But before that, Rémy will train on the famous Queenstown tracks during the Queenstown Bike Festival.
