The very first episode of our new summer series, ''Diaries Downunder.'' Queenstown has well and truly kicked off for summer and in this Ep. we've got a bit of a mixed bag - Lakeside livin', a spot of jetskiing (Kenny Powers style), and of course mountain biking at Skyline, Wynyard, and The Remarkables. Featuring Josh Clark, Mat Weir, and Kelly McGarry. Thanks to Destination Queenstown, Air NZ, Muvi, R&R Sport and Teva.

Episode 2 of our Summer Mountain Bike Series is here. We pick a perfect morning to take Kelly McGarry, Nathan Rennie, and Josh Clark, heli biking with Vertigo Heli Tours, thanks to Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters. A 45-minute decent down to the Gibbston Tavern; ex-downhill racer Nathan Rennie also gives us a rundown on his new project; Lower45 Bike Camps. Thanks for watching! diariesdownunder.com for more

my 14 year old son was lucky enough to be riding with nathen this week. He had a week that he will never forget. The improvement in his riding has been nothing short of awesome. I cant speak highly enough of nathen as a bloke and man can he still ride! i know for a fact that his back tyre was completely bald on this ride! Queenstown is such a great place and has got a vibe you just have to experience.

$2k for a week with Rennie is a bargain! Hope he does a few more clinics

I lived in Queenstown for 16 months, it does have some awesome trails, I rode all those in the vids lots of times bar the heli-trail, the night life there is also pretty fun, no mention of just how ludicrazily expensive everything is there though! :-O And for me, none of the many well manicured trails in Queenstown match the fun and technicality of the rough and loose dh trails in the Uk!

Actually, alcohol is quite cheap in QT, it's set up for tourists, so most bars have to discount to get the patrons in. Housing/accommodation is expensive, the rest is no different to living that far from a main city

eh the discounts seem a lot better than they are. The drinks in bars most of the time are mixed up super weak from my experience... unless you go to cowboy bar. The mega mug is a killer deal!
