Years ago, I witnessed a similar crash on the last hit of the Crabapple line. Likewise, the rider got bucked forward, rotating mid-air. He landed hard, got knocked out and had bones sticking out of his arm. We of course assisted the Whistler Bike medics and got the kid off the mountain.

Hardest part (besides the kid being like 240) was that his father was there filming his son when he crashed. At the very least, he survived, unlike another who passed away that day on the same line.

Sweet riding in Baby Come Back.
