This is Holdshott 2: It's been a pretty dry winter here at Holdshott so we made the most of it and did some filming over the last few months. Songs: Matt & Kim - Get It. Zion I - Unity.
TchoukTV - Alexandre Fayolle: Alexandre Fayolle is a young French privateer and he's been training a lot, in preparation for the World Cup season. Watch him on the La Roque d'Antheron track, in the south of France.
Muddbunnies Documentary: Muddbunnies riding club is dedicated to women in mountain biking. They hope this movie shows, with a little humour, their enthusiasm for the sport.
Lily Melluso - Joyride: 12 year-old Lily Melluso has been putting in a lot of time at Joyride150. Joyride is proud to feature her as Rider Of The Month. Video: Ben Janacek.
Barred For Life 2 - Steve Romaniuk: Romo sending it at Chatel.
The Pro's Closet: The Pro's Closet talks with Colby Pearce about his hour record setting Lotus Sport 110! This bike is on display, along with other notable vintage bicycles, at The Pro's Closet's Vintage Bicycle Museum in Boulder, CO. Trials Riding Hazardous Rocks With Mike Steidley: 12x US National Champion Mike Steidley rides around his hometown in the North East of the United States and makes the most of some of the gorgeous scenery.
Mike Brennan - Insight: A classic segment.
Seven - The BC Bike Race Movie: A film by Aaron LaRocque.
Quiver Ep. 2 - Light and Fast: Episode two focuses on ski mountaineering racing, where speed and efficiency is crucial. In turn Ski Mo racing provides the framework to become more efficient, so you can climb more peaks and ski more lines.
That's It That's All - New Zealand: "That's It, That's All" was the precursor to the now classic ''Art of Flight.'' Amazing to see the progression since then.
Adidas Skateboarding - Namibia: The Adidas South Africa skateboarding team recently explored the unknown territories of Namibia. They travelled to the capital city of Windhoek and made their way back to Cape Town via Swakopmund, Luderitz, Sossusvlei and small coastal towns. Filmed by: Adriaan Louw & Leon Bester.
805 Million Names – Zlatan Ibrahimović: On 14 February 2015, Paris Saint-German played against Caen at Parc des Princes. For most players this game was just another day on the job. For Zlatan Ibrahimović this was his most important game to date.
I would like to know this as well. Following his fb most of the posts are about his bar/dj job and pretty much all of bike related stuff are all sorts of throwback to glory day, which was almost 10 years ago... Does he even still ride bikes? #NEVERFORGET
According to his Twitter, Romo no more rides bikes. He's more into MX but as a hobby, not as a professional racer.
Bourdon is still around there but I can't remember the name of the video where I saw him last. It was by the end of last year I think.
@Twelverootsrider Tyler Klassen stepped down as a pro and went to work as an bike mechanic. However that place seem to be closed now and he is nowhere to be seen, but apparently still rides bikes. Mike Kinrade turns out to be most dedicated of original Stund crew, running things at Retallack. Funny how things turned out... Bourdon is still around, he is part of the build crew for every rampage!
strange to hear romo is of dh. the dude is not 35 yet i believe. strange to hear cause he looked to me as one of those never stopping monster dropper. well everyone get old. reminds me how much of time i still got left... and that will suck
Never forget! The "gee transfer" gap back at rampage 2010 was really the Romo transfer! His takeoff going into the canyon/wall ride was farther back than where it was eventually landed from. Gee took the easier line.
Does anyone remember what the web series with Steve Romaniuk from a couple years back is called? I'm trying to find it for my friend. It had some of the burliest big mountain line and wicked northshore stuff. Please inbox me the name if you knwo what I'm talking about.
Dig the Colby Pearce interview another great peice by tpc. Seems that for a lot of ex pros they see their old bikes as tools of the tade and not too hung up on them but for any retro-nerds like myself these old bikes are priceless gems.
Yea, that was definitely an interesting and compelling video. Unfortunately when I googled the guy (because I know zero about football), I quickly found out that he's a major A-Hole. Seems to have a bit of a violent streak. Last bit of interest: FAKE TATOOS.
Just woke up, before I head up to the trails to stack some dirt ready for the oncoming spring/summer I like to watch something to get the creative juices flowing. Here is one of the best trails bmx flicks ever & it's made by a local shredder, sit back and enjoy 10 mins of pure Pen hills flow
Very nice to see Alexandre Fayolle charging hard. His crash in practice at the Windham world cup was the worst thing I have witnessed on two wheels. Best of luck on the upcoming season!
BC Bike Race video just makes me want to rent out my house and my dog, sell my car (and the rest of my shit really) and pull my kids out of school and head to Vancouver Island...
Woo! My first first comment. Some winter edits, a throwback to when narrow bars ruled bmx, good range in tunes throughout, and some Grrrl Power, poor young rabbit! Really enjoyed the filming and music choice in "Local" too, could have easily over-cheesed it. Happy Monday folks!
Seriously, enough with the DH videos that start with some dude pushing his bike up the hill. Makes me want to switch to MX. Pushing sucks. Get a chair lift or start pedaling.

This always gets me inspired to dig this time of year!
Happy Monday folks!
