Video: Shuttling with the Subway
You can take the train (which starts underground in the city) all the way to the top of the mountain north of the city. This is the same area that has the famous ski jump park, Holmenkollen. I was not there to ride, only got to hike, but I saw kids shuttling to the top. Train should work just fine. You wouldn't start in the city, though. You would want to get on close to where the trails end... but I suppose if you really wanted to claim you used the subway to shuttle, well, you could.
