If he is already so dedicated to riding Giant bikes, riding them at such a high level, and loves them that much, what does Giant have to gain by sponsoring him? They're getting it all for free as it is.

I have to say he must be one of the most exciting new riders out there! also, i have a Reign X1 set up for AM at the moment. My family no longer has a need for it, but seeing this guy on his SX got me thinking...if I took off the front and rear derailleur/shifters, took off the cassette and useless chain guide, and kept everything else it just might work. Opinions??

Short travel, but beefy and lightweight bikes is the future. I like the reign except for its weak pivots. I fear I'd snap one if I landed even slightly sideways. Ok if you're a pro and always land straight.
