Earlier this year we thought it would be cool to have some young locals killing it in a Sun Peaks video, along with Justin Terwiel showing how well he coaches his riders. Unfortunately we were not allowed to use the footage of them. They all shredded so hard for our cameras for us so we felt bad just throwing it away, so we put this together!
Well, I realise it's a real gift for a mountain biker to be born in B.C. or generally in Canada . Those kids are awesome! But I kinda envy the environment
Canadian winters in the Rockies are EPIC.... Most bikers I know just transition from biking, to snowboarding or skiing for the winter. Big mountain lines and fresh pow are a great substitute for biking. Especially with 6-8 months of snow. And no matter what time of year, winter or summer, you can find most of your friends at the local mountain... Trying to fill their gravity fed addictions.
To be on honest, If most of us lived there, grew up mountain biking from a early age, getting coached by an early age and have the top spec bikes they had, we would be as good as them, bar a few.
Nevertheless they have developed some amazing props to them
i loved the crash at the end of the first video! "i wish there was more crashes in that video" i said to myself, and then i watched the second video...
i Feel like there is a POD of the crash that happened at the end of the second video. I could sware it was a mid-crash pod with the same bikes and place, with the guy low on the right side of his bike with his leg across the top tube.?
YESSSSSS, I just wrote above about this very picture. I'm very happy you settled that for me, it was like when you just cant think of a word and it eats away at you.
Im sorry, but does anybody else find the colour correction in the first video incredibly annoying? The brightness has been turned up something crazy and the sky is now just white. looks terrible imo
I love how when Ian barspins dirtcomes off his bars. Haha entertaining vid. Always look forward to when a new Silvia edit drops down!! Gotta love Kamloops riding!!!
Because the safety guy at the bike park thought it would pressure us to ride harder and have a higher chance of crashing...and some other liability stuff...
"i wish there was more crashes in that video" i said to myself,
and then i watched the second video...
But it's so much better when you can see how fast he was going, haha. I hope he didn't get hurt too badly.
