Derailleur failure, and why it's time to evolve beyond them
@DoubleCrownAddict: bonfire has correctly pointed out that the di2 crash mode is not designed to prevent crashes. Therefore Shimano has not incriminated themselves as you claim. Now that you are aware your claim is incorrect, will you remove that section from you blog post?

Pinkbike Poll: Wild or Mild - What Makes A Bike Look Great?
@kleinschuster: “Customers must understand companies are not going to warranty a product that has been modified in a way that cannot be verified as done correctly or to the standards the company wants.” Frames are assembled with poor quality parts and improper tools all the time, without any manufacturer oversight. Should the frame fail in the future it can be returned. The manufacturer will assess the cause of failure and decide if the warranty claim is valid. This could be the same for repainting a frame.

Behind the Numbers: Unno Dash
@gillish: I also think there might be is a mistake in the calculation for pedal kickback. I get minimum speeds that are very close to yours. 14km/h for commencal, 12km/h for norco, 18km/h for unno. As you say, this is the absolute worst case. If you assume constant deceleration as the suspension compresses the total kickback will be greatly reduced, even if traveling at speeds slower than the above. I made graph to try show this effect, i think it's correct. https://imgur.com/a/COczYag
