This is Home: Richie Rude - Video
I've known Richie, Big Rich, and Karen for many years through riding and racing in the Northeast. You seriously could not find a more supportive and all around awesome family. They have been involved in all aspects of cycling here in the Northeast and go above and beyond to lend a hand for the sport and other riders. Their spirit has obviously taken root in Richie because he is perhaps the most humble, dedicated, and loyal #1 rider that I have ever met. While Richie rides for a brand/team that competes with the one which employs me, I am one of his biggest fans and am so happy to see the levels of success he is reaching in his career.

GT 2017 Preview - Press Camp 2016
You will see any mix of F:Boost/R:142mm and F:100mm/R:Boost on complete bikes for MY16/17/18 as brands switch their forks and frames to all be in step. The fork manufactures still have a mixture of Boost and standard in their OEM product lines and not every fork for each platform moves over at the same rate. A huge PITA for everyone involved. It's not any sort of conspiracy as that would imply that the bike industry actually works together on these things...

GT 2017 Preview - Press Camp 2016
@oldschool43: No, boost was designed for wheel stiffness for 29" wheels and came well before Plus. The industry should have just skipped boost and went straight for a 150mm rear, but that ship has now sailed.

Pinkbike Poll: How Will You Be Spending Your Winter?
Why isn't there an option for "Drink"? To quote Rogers Hornsby, "People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." Pretty much the same goes for me and riding.

Exclusive: Martin Whiteley and Trek Weigh In On Gwin
Care to elaborate on your accusations Jonny? I worked rather closely w/ Sean Heimdal on a daily basis for 5+ years and have remained friendly with him since we stopped working together about 4-years back. Sean always worked on the up-and-up with me and all of his team sponsors. Even on the occasion when he was screwed financially by sponsors, he had the riders paid before himself. Sean's programs have had a lot of consistency in sponsors, riders, and staff over the past 11-years. You don't get that consistency being "very slimy". If you have a personal beef w/ Sean take it up directly with him instead of making one-sided accusations in a forum.
