Ride to Conquer Cancer

Dear PinkBikers,

Next Summer, on June 8-9, 2013, I will be participating in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. It is a 200+ km ride over 2 days from Niagara Falls to Toronto. Funds raised will go to benefit the Campbell Family Institute at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.

Earlier this year, my mother was diagnosed with Leukemia. It was a devastating blow to our family, and the news has affected many people, inside and outside my family. She is currently being treated at Princess Margaret Hospital, which is one of the top 5 Cancer hospitals in the world. The level of care, treatment and support we have received there is second to none, and we feel so fortunate and grateful for that. There is no cure for Leukemia right now. We will be going to PMH for the next foreseeable future for all our primary care. The donations I collect will be directed toward Leukemia research and treatment at PMH. I am hoping that my contribution will help continue their success.

Even though this is a "Skinny Tire" ride, I will be reppin' the fat tires and big bikes on this meaningful journey. And that's why I'm here, asking my fellow PinkBikers for support. Please consider making a donation to my cause, and sponsoring me on my Ride to Conquer Cancer.
