It's almost winter here in Nelson, and I'm reflecting back on how the season was for me. Like every year it gets better and better, but I can't shake that dramatic crash I had at the Rampage and how it immobilized me for almost a month. This isn't the image that I want in my head when I reflect on the time spent with my bike, my friends, and the mountains that I love. I needed to get out one more time and ride something spectacular and challenging. I want to find a line never ridden before, and one that would have to be pretty gnarly. The journey up to it brings me back to why I love riding my bike. It's the time spent in the mountains and with your good friends that is really how I remember my season, the scary line is the cherry on top.

 I wish I had a huge forest of dark mulchy dirt and trees to cut up and make ladders out of....just tumbleweeds and gravel here...that hill looked crazy fun to ride down!

 my DH bike is down right now, but honestly I couldn't care less, I'm super stoked on two building projects I've got going right now, and we have rocks thrown into that mix!! We've got a sweet mixture of all that stuff!!

 I'm so f*ckin glad he is up and running is huge inspiration for me seeing someone that is 2 years jounger than me pinning as hard as he do. I was kinda depress when he fall at rampage but this great video is pure inspiration I know I wouldn't ever scratch his level but it's a HUGE motivation to see him pinning hard
also thanks mitch for leting us have a glimpse of such dream team!!

 The time lapse of that trail build was so cool. Living in the desert and working on trails, I would never consider using fire as a trail building tool, but it seems to work pretty well in BC.

 It was a custom build by a local fabricator here in Nelson. Let me know if you are interested in getting one made up. IT has been the best rack system I have ever used.
