With some fast rolling tires and gears you can easily piss off some roadies when you pass them up...and then bunnyhop off the road and bomb down whatever is in your way. MONSTER TRUCK BIKES RULE...

All the trash talk is disgusting. You guys are putting down one of the godfathers of mountain biking. Slandering the name of man who was mashing pedals while you were swimming around in your pappy's sack. RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!! and ummm how many of you kids have built an airplane? just curious.

Totally epic...I remember reading the "Ask R.C." column in MBA on the reg as a youngster. Pinkbike is gonna dominate MTB media. Hey R.C.!! You never got back to me about my question regarding the effects of glass beading or media blasting my aluminum frame to prep it for powdercoat!!!

I don't expect to win anything first of all. I can however say that state governments spend a ton of money on regulating, policing, and cleaning public lands for OHV use. I love riding dirt bikes, atv's, and even four wheeling my truck, but I follow the rules. Clean up my trash, stay on the designated trail, and tread lightly. Unfortunately there are many OHV users who do not follow the rules. It is not uncommon to see large amounts of trash, beer cans, appliances, shell casings, and even abandoned vehicles littering many OHV areas across the west coast. Not to mention various firepits littered with nails from burning pallets and broken glass from drunk idiots. Another common sight at many OHV parks is trails blazed outside the designated trails, contributing to further erosion and a bad name for responsible users. THIS BEING SAID, I have NEVER EVER been to a mountain bike trail that contained any of this mayhem. No exhaust, no noise, no partying. Just people out riding and enjoying the scenery. I feel it is very unfair that people on petroleum powered vehicles get away with tearing up their playground, while mountain bikers have to fight to even have a playground.

If I didn't have to work for a living I would be all over this opportunity. It's a shame to see a bunch of you kids bad mouthing this bike when chances are that the high priced bike you own was purchased by your parents. I would encourage any of you youngsters out there who think this is a good idea and want to work towards a career in the bike industry to start here. This will definitely show as some great experience in marketing and customer relations for a bicycle manufacturer, and most of all YOU HAVE FUN AND GET FREE STUFF!! P.S. My first mountain bike was an old diamondback sorrento with cantilever brakes, gum wall tires, and no suspension at all. I was like 12 and I never even thought about adjusting my travel, or compression. I never thought that there was a section I couldn't ride because "my bike wasn't good enough". I just charged it, and when I crashed without a TLD D3 carbon helmet, I was still smiling!! GO AIRBORNE!!
