 yeah, where are the panning nature shots and scenic and artsy shots of random shit near the trail? how am i supposed to envelope myself into the picture if i don't fully understand the Aura of the trail? and no long convoluted message about wisdom and inner peace to help me understand his life's experience.

 nah, but those are kinda wicked sometimes. especially over rock gardens. you can watch how the riders move, and for engineers, how the suspension moves.

 Why do mountainbikers always analyse why videos are uploaded? Almost every video is made for commercial reasons thats the game!

 Haven't been a big fan of R-dog in the past. That just changed. Haven't seen a vid that made me that pumped to ride in a long time!!! Insanely good.

 I kinda agree. I think it was in life-cycles where he said "this is aptos man. we ride bikes, its all we do". For some reason at that point I totally undeservedly decided I didnt like him much. Really cannot tell you why. I must admit I even took a certain pleasure in seeing semenuk slap him in the face while stood on a ladder in Not Bad. I feel bad about that.

Now I think he's awesome. Couldn't tell you what has changed. But I'm sorry R-Dog, I regret the year I spent mildly disliking someone I've never met. Now I think you're great, even tho I still haven't ever met you. I'm sure this will change your life drastically and you will now sleep better at night knowing that some brit you have never heard of has changed his tune. If I ever meet you I'll buy you some haribo or something.

 That was insane riding for sure and its sad that I'll never be able to ride like that. He held some high speeds and overall looked flawless. I hate when non-mountain bikers say, "how can you spend that much on a mtb bike and it doesn't even have a motor??? How can that even be fun???" I'd like to show those idiots this video and more like it and ask them to tell me it looks like he's having just a horrible time on a mtb bike or that he's not having fun! They just don't get it....

Garbriel-mission9, I couldn't picture who R-Dog was but I knew the quote you stated, " this is aptos...." and it was bothering me because I knew it wasn't Life Cycles (love that one, awsome in blu-ray) and googled him to see what he looked like. R-Dog said that quote in Strength In Numbers which is also awsome. Life Cycles and Strength In Numbers are easily my two favorites.

 R-dog has just turned me into a child for a minute- I've just seen riding through virgin eyes- I thought I had seen it all but this is plain bonkers. I cannot recall seeing a bike ever being ridden any better, ever. And I watched it for free. Winner.
