Zero to Sixty: Dream Sequence - Video

Nov 16, 2015 at 10:10
by SRAM

Do you dream in black and white or in shades of loam and leaves? When you dream, do you revel in that sweet silence as you float weightless before landing again? Are your dreams filled with the sounds of tires smashing berms and spraying hero dirt? Is ragged-edge speed your number-one best friend? Do the trails in your dreams flow like water and offer never-ending possibilities for new lines and new creativity? And do you always wake up before you get to the end?

Yeah, that’s what we thought.

Hmmm it doesn't look right. I'm not saying its been sped up but something seems off. Almost like when you take a slow mo with an iPhone and you get that weird effect when it fades back to regular speed.

yeh... that's called subtle slow mo.

 it's 60 fps m8... must be 60 fps

It's a little secret that you can fiddle with in the settings of the camera to make it look like it would with the naked eye. Shutter speed and fps etc.

My first thought was 'Wow so fast!'
Then I thought: 'DH pros are faster.'
Now I'm like: 'where am I?'
  • 17 1
Well that was fast! Looked like a fun track too, no need for brakes!! Wish our local hills were big enough to make a track like that, by the time we are up to speed it's time to jam the anchors on again!!

i thing we need like 2-3minutes more to judge if they ride good enough ..
  • 2 0
Yeah definitely. With an edit this short it's just not enough time to tell if they're good at riding or not...

Their names and the history behind their names should tell you if they are good enough.

Slo-mo done right! Rad riding too

I appreciate the "no slow mo" concept, but it would be good to see some slow mo just to increase the number of video frames so that you could examine body position, knees, shoulders etc.
