Pietermaritzburg World Cup 2012 - Day 1
I was waiting for a comment like the one fom Danhillracer. They're paid, and well too, compared to the going rate for manual labour around here. And they're not kids. The "slave" labour thats been used for that track was building the 2009 PMB WC track and many others before and since. Myself, other riders and their parents put their time in, missing out on work to get the track to what it is, all for free. The last two years, riders have again pitched in and done much of the work, again for free, because after paying the guys you see above, there was pretty much nothing left in the budget! Frankly its a bit insulting that you would insinuate that.

2011 Pietermaritzburg WC DH Course Building Part 2 - The top section
If you look at the split times from the 2009 world cup we hosted, Greg was the fastest through every section if I remember correctly and made up the most time, by far on the top technical section. I think Greg's proved himself to be a racer who can win on any track, steep or tech..... Don't hate...

Catching up with Vanderham
No, just because they haven't produced any great mountainbikers. No one ever said anything about skin colour. The fact that they have different skin colour is just a coincedence, retard.

Downhill World Cup #1 - Maribor Finals
When I mentioned the American thing I was refering to dowst, not you Orangegoblin. But ultimately its her decision, whether she races or not is her decision, and no one else's. They can tell her what they think but they cant stop her. And that is why her manager can't get the flack. Minnaar raced the whole 2007 season with a dodgey shoulder that resulted in his crash at Fort William worlds that resulted in him dislocating his shoulder through his scapula, his manager didn't get the flak. Fabien Barels knee, his manager didnt get the flak when his knee blew up in South Africa, same with Cedric Gracia. I could go on all day(Matti's wrists, Sam Hills knee, etc.) and they're still racing(or raced). By your reasoning, we should have some of the best in the world sitting it out at any given time because their managers dont think they should race. Its an extreme sport for a reason, it has its inherent risks and injuries and its how riders manage those risks and injuries that is so often the difference between being the best or re-injury.

She is at fault, its not her managers fault, or her parents or the UCI's. They cannot restrict you in the respect of whether or not you can compete due to physical injury. You americans need to get off the "blame everyone but the person at fault" band wagon. She's an adult, she was fully conscious when she entered the start gate, she knew the possible consequences of what she was doing and she rolled the dice. If something had happened, it would have been her fault, no one else's. I know what she was thinking because I've done what she did but I wasnt so lucky.
