I got this bike in '09 after it spent its life in Garage after being built up. Since then it has been taken down mostly technical downhill riding and very little big burly stuff, even though it is fully prepared for burliness. It has spent most of its riding life on Downieville between Butcher's, Pauley and even a Big Boulder ride. Seen various Tahoe area rides and done excellent on them. I'm 6' and 185 lbs and I've been incredibly comfortable on this bike, and ridden it uphill (takes getting your legs into shape) and downhill (plush). I am a bike mechanic and a previous mountain bike guide, so this bike has been taken care of and kept in great shape. It is a bike that can be put away wet and keep kicking, with continuous care it will continue to take care of you.
