Field Test: 2022 Transition Spire - Suprisingly Versatile
@jclnv: One thing to keep in mind is these EWS pros get one practice run prior to racing, on a lot of Euro tracks (old hiking trails and the like) with a good amount of very tight corners. I think the majority of us are riding trails we're typically more familiar with. I believe I remember Moir mentioning this, and him liking the XL at home on familiar territory.

Feb 20, 2021F/S: Ibis HD4, XL (L these days...)
$2900 USDXL Ibis HD4 in good condition. This bike has been ridden but also very well maintained. It has treated me well and runs smoothly/quietly. Only issues are paint chips near the links and a few on the rear chainstay, a few misc scratches here and there. Fork/shock was serviced within the last couple of months (and bike mostly sat since), tires are almost new. I bought this bike new, and swapped for an XL front triangle early last year. This bike is perfect for folks around 5'9-6' (slam seat forward and you have really great geo). Bike comes with two sets of wheels/tires.
