Jared Graves - Rider Journal - EWS 1
legendary stuff Jared! Really inspiring article. "They were doing four runs to our one and saving a load of energy.... To me this is not really in the 'spirit of enduro' " This sums it up for me.. Enduro is meant to be like what we all do on the weekend: riding trails, beating our mates on the downhills; taking our time up the climbs, chatting about stuff. I know with it being Pro, with big sponsors to please, people are going to use every means to their advantage; But Jared goes 'au Nature' and brings home a 3rd! superb stuff. (I know he said he started Shuttling to keep up with the competition, but his intent was clear) I would love to see a race setting, which was a Vehicle-Free zone. All the competitors have to make do with their own two legs. My personal opinion that is :)

Riding Mountains: Destination X
I did the destination X trip with Trail Addiction last summer. It was absolutely awesome. The guides were great. The setting is beautiful, if a little remote. We gorged ourselves on 'Tartes aux Mertilles' from the local bakery, and drank goldfish-bowl fulls of 'Leffe' beer at the bar. In the video, at 1:30 you see one of the guides followed by a kid in a black T-Shirt. The kid is the son of the local bike shop owner. He is 12 years old and an absolute shredder, bags if talent. Though I guess you would be if that was your back garden.
