The Coastal Crew has been keeping busy in the woods of the Sunshine Coast creating the world’s first
year-round mountain bike facility in the small coastal town of Sechelt. Funded entirely by the support of the mountain bike community this project is a true testament to how rad our sport really is. Leave the skis in the closet this winter and come ride with The Coastal Crew – this place is open year round.
Check out Dylan, Curtis & Kyle enjoying some quality time on their Demo 8’s. Trails featured include Devils Elbow, Hand Job, Dynamite Panther, Flight Deck, Hot lap, Red Dragon and a new, yet to be opened Down Spout.

and that unimog is a bad ass shuttle rig :-)
they know those trails well...almost as if they designed and built them themselves eh?
AND can someone make an article about "Intern". Maybe a photo epic about his person and life. "The rise of Intern" or sth....
I bet he has an interesting personality.
Is anyone else wondering why they are riding the old demos still though?
(Just a theory)
and its nice to see that they are still using 26". just saw one edit with curtis and ropelato riding the new 650b enduro sworks.
perhaps it was pure marketing that norbs rode the complete new 650b carbon demo at rampage? you cant have better advertisment for a new rig, but why dont they use it on their video? thousands of people will watch this edit, too. i think they are used to their old beloved wheelsize and that is 26"
After riding the new Demo, it is indeed a bit less nimble bike, but still pretty playful to me. But at least they could get the 2014 carbon, I'd say? It saves a whole lot of weight, and all the content produced by Coastal Crew sure makes it a worthwhile investment, to show them carbon haters it can sustain a hit or two.
But apparently, carbon Demos are primarily for their sponsored racers..and kenny smith, for some reason.
Still maybe the first for Canada.
We've all seen slomo whips now. I'd like to see more at balls to the wall speed.
Tracks in the vid look great fun
Awesome vid btw!
the frame looks sick! it is a camo pattern of a cedar tree and he printed vinyl decals of a picture of it to put on his frame. i think it looks awesome and he has the same design on his stumpjumper evo in their "rake and ride" video. coastal crew rule them all!!!
My friend went for the Logan Peat edition haha
Awesome vid!
sorry i dont know the title
You're so funny dude!
Thanx a lot!
At least it wasn't "Darude-Sandstorm"
