It looks like the rider was in a patch of forest that let a significant amount of light through, and exposing for the rider, the rest of the forest that wasn't as bright will be a lot darker. I think the reason it looks vignetted is because of the perfect spot in the forest this was taken, because directly behind him is a patch of forest that is pretty sparse with leaves and trees, so it looks like it's making a circle around him. I'd say this has less to do with post-production work than extremely good talent by the photographer for noticing the perfect light and location.

Mazda Protege(5?) for the intro timelapse? I've definitely done the same, albeit not as well executed. Some great shots as well, not just for mountain biking.

He shouldn't have listened to that song with the lyrics "I want to fly like an eagle" before his run...

I don't normally like dirt jumping pictures (most likely because I suck at it :P) but this one is just awesome! Great job!

You don't need a $3000 camera and $10 000 worth of lenses to take a good picture.

It's definitely not that hard in the winter when there's ice on it, and I go down on a sled that has no brakes! I'd definitely do it if I had more safety gear though. The concrete would rip you to shreds if you crashed D:

I'm sure you would think differently if you were at the lip of it and actually going to ride it.
