Pinkbike’s 3,000 Foot Texas Peak Megatrain - Video
@racecase I've hiked the Barr trail close to 10 times now (never had a chance to bike it) and I've been fortunate enough ride Retallack for the last few years and let's just say that this is certainly a case where quality trumps quantity. 3,000ft of professionally and purposely built mtb singletrack all to yourself or 7,000ft of hiking trails (and the hikers that go with it). Retallack is better 10x over. However, the next time I visit Pike's Peak it will be with a bike not boots because riding down is always better than walking up!

Transition Patrol 1

$3250 USD
I'm selling my 2015 Transition Patrol 1, which is the top build for the Patrol. The bike has been ridden for the last 2 years, but was well cared for and has recently been serviced. There are a few wear marks, very minor rubbing on the right crank and downtube (it was so minor on the downtube that I couldn't even get it to show in photos) and then a little rub on the lower on the fork (pictured). All scuffs are cosmetic and will not effect on the safety or performance of the bike. I've already considered these factors into the price, so please don't try to low ball me because of a slight cosmetic scuff, I'm not going to knock extra off just because you asked. Here are the rest of the specs: 2015 Transition Patrol 1 (Medium) FRAME: Patrol Alloy COLOR: Satin Black REAR SHOCK: RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 Debonair FORK: Rock Shox Pike RCT3 160mm 27.5 STEM: Race Face Atlas 35 (50mm) HANDLEBAR: Race Face SixC 35 Carbon (800mm x 35mm) HEADSET: FSA NO.57E CRANK: Race Face SixC Cinch DM32t NW (175mm) BRAKES: Shimano XT ROTORS: Shimano RT86 180mm SHIFTER: SRAM XX1 Red CASSETTE: SRAM XG 1195 (10-42) REAR DERAILLEUR: SRAM XX1 Red CHAINGUIDE: e*thirteen XCX Chain Guide WHEELSET: Gravity Grid Wheelset 27.5 TIRES: Maxxis Minion DHF (Front) / Maxxis Minion DHR II (Rear) SEATPOST: Rock Shox Reverb Stealth 150mm SADDLE: ANVL Forge Chromoly GRIPS: Bontrager Lock On Grips CHAIN: SRAM PC X1 PEDALS: None WEIGHT: 29.2 lbs (Medium)

Scott Voltage FR10

$900 USD
2012 Scott Voltage FR10 I'm selling my 2012 Scott Voltage FR10 in the Short size, as this bike was available in only two sizes, short and long. I'm 5'9 and with a relatively short inseam (~29") and the bike fit me well. The Voltage is an extremely adjustable bike, the rear travel can be adjusted between 160mm and 180mm with the current shock and can shrink all the way to 130mm in the rear with a shock swap. I currently have it set up with a 180mm single crown Fox 36 Van front fork, but it also pairs very well with a dual crown fork for those looking for a full on mini-dh rig. With a 10-speed rear cassette the gearing range is wide enough to climb on this bike (I pedaled this bike up Galbraith for a couple of years, although don't expect to keep up with your trail bike friends.), but it's really ideally suited for flowy shuttles and bike park laps. It is built like a tank with out being ridiculously heavy (~35 lbs) so you can huck your meat or throw it in a shuttle rig without having to say a "Hail Mary" first. It's a blast in the park as the bike is snappy and poppy and feels less cumbersome than a full blow dh rig. I rode it for two years and then it was my spare bike for friends and roommates to use for the last few years. The frame is clean of any dents, but has seen its share of knicks and dings. They're all cosmetic and won't pose any safety or performance issues. The fork does have a small ding in the top of one stanchion, but a small amount of sanding would take care of it and it hasn't been problematic with the seals, but those mechanically inclined could have it buffed out and swap the seals and it would be as good as new. The tires are both new within the last month. I have accounted for the dings, wear, and minor service the bike may require, but its ready to ride and all factors have been included in the pricing so lets not waste each others time with low ball offers or haggling over small scratches. This bike has put smiles on the faces of everyone whose ridden it, so let it put a smile on yours. Cheers.
