Story Time: When Bikes Aren't the Answer
Thanks for sharing. One of my favorite memories of my best friend was when we were 16 and explored some unmarked trails on our cheap XC hardtails. With some adult money now, I've got a bike that we couldn't have even dreamed of ever owning. First thing I did was go back to those trails. It's not the same alone. I'd give it all up to be 16 again with my Raleigh Talus.

Or a company that has riders in every weight and height. They select one based on your personal measurements. You ship your bike to them then they ride the heck out of it and tune it. They ship it back and you receive a perfectly tuned bike. You can even pack your gear into the bike box and they'll equip the rider with it and share some kick ass photos of "you" on your bike.

Medium Trek Farley
$1400 USDSize medium. Original owner. In great condition. Still has original tires on. Just had a service. Everything works well and drivetrain is clean. I got it as a birthday gift in 2017 or 2018. I did not ride it nearly as much as I thought I would. Used it for a few commutes in the winter and a few trail rides while my Santa Cruz Blur was being fixed. I actually PR’d some really technical segments on Strava. The Farley is a beast and is so much more than just a winter bike. I just don’t have the room to store it anymore.
Has some minor blemishes and scratches. Probably from banging it around storing it in my small garage rather than actual use.
Open to reasonable offers.
