After a summer of coaching, Chad was pretty comfortable cruising down the blue trails. As summer came to an end, he wanted to check out some alternate landing areas. Even though we only had a few hours to film this one, this video stands as a good reflection that any trail in Whistler Bike Park can be an absolute blast, even if it is your 1200th time down it.

Reminder: Transferring from one trail to another should never be attempted. All transfers were conducted under the supervision of bike park staff.

 I don't think he was mocking them. I think he was showing the trail being ridden as it is by tons of riders in order to show contrast of how he rode it. It was a good editing technique to highlight his unique lines. It would be lame if he was mocking though.

 "It was never our intention to mock slower riders. All we wanted to do was highlight how your average rider rides those trails and by doing so put a little emphasis on chads riding . Definitely not put down the riders who were riding it perfectly normal."

 I fully understand that he was trying to show how others ride the trail but you know that was crank it up right? Like 90% of the people that ride it are just learning to ride. That was the first trail I took my dad down and he's never ridden a DH bike. So finding things to over jump on it is well... everything. Super confused on this edit and kinda bummed you tried to put "normal" riders into it to elevate yourself.

 We were just trying to film a casual, fun vibes video. We weren't trying to offend so many people. If you were left emotionally distressed by this video. I apologize. I promote riders of all ages, ethnicity, and genders getting into mountain biking. Go out and ride your bikes!

 It would have been better if you used yourself in both shots… the "average rider" lines as well as the transfer shots. That way you still get contrast and you don't give the impression of mocking beginner riders.

 You guys are so sensitive haha its not like he was standing on the side of the trail talking shit. It says he was a coach at whistler so after riding crank it up a million times he has some interesting lines to show. Not every video need to be just blacks and double blacks. this video was kinda fun and refreshing. I can dig it.

 Having lived, ridden and worked with Chad for the past two years I can say with certainty he has never and would not mock other riders, he's always excited to go out and ride with people of all levels - what he is on the other hand is a non-stop joke and never serious unless he has to be. That last transfer was rad! Nice video guys

 I get that they wanted to show contrast but it's pretty obvious those were not "Average" riders... by the Rockshox/SRAM boards it looked like it was that person 1st time down Crank It Up.... If you wanted to show contrast you should have filmed yourself do those sections in the beginning of the season BEFORE all the coaching and then now... that would have been acceptable

 At what point did he mock beginner riders? You realize coaches stop on the trails all the time and show their students how to ride features/jumps/berms. Even if he wasn't coaching at the time he was just showing how beginner/intermediate riders ride the trail vs someone who rides it all day everyday. Was he laughing at the riders as they went past? No, he was nodding as a compliment. People need to relax a bit..... It was a good edit with good riding, leave it at that.....

 I don't think he was mocking beginners, as he happily guided them day in and day out. And to those saying it wasn't impressive, have you ever even ridden here? Yeah, it wasn't amazing, but contact Chad and I when you come up here and we can go for a lap. Then let's see what you have to say.

 You guys are too sensitive.Great riding by Chad and stoked to see that everyone can ride within their comfort zone the exact same trail.I am an average rider and I think by watching his lines on this video i can improve my lines for next time.I didnt think he was trying to mock slower riders at all.Maybe the message on the video was misinterpreted. Just get on your bike and go riding and stop trying to find problems.

 I think this is honestly I super tight video, idk why anyone would be worried about him mocking anyone, they were just trying to show the contrast between how a normal rider rides those features and how he can shred them to there fullest potential. Quit hating. Tight vid major props!

 Some folks are blowing this out of proportion. It didn't even come across as mocking. He was showing what the beginner lines would be on that trail and then showing what an advance rider could do. I enjoyed the video and will go try those lines on Crank It Up next time I'm up.

 I neg propped this video but more of in a sarcastic, pile on, finger waving way... Video was alright, just some youngster stoked to show off his development and everyone is all mad cause of 2 scenes with beginner riders. Big deal. Relax. Go make an original edit yourself and quit complaining. Too much holier than thou attitude on here. Just go ride your bike.

 Dam, there was some nice lines. Its great to see next level riding. When you've got a place dialed and have shitload's of skill, and when that place is Whistler, you can show people. And apparently you can act a little like a dick and get away with it too.
