Aaron Gwin Pins Laguna Beach's Top of the World Trail - Video
yeah I agree 100%, I think follow cams are the best angles but I am sure there aren't too many people who can follow Aaron Gwinn down Telonics that fast. I just uploaded our ride down Telonics from Sunday, we had a train of 8 riders, it gives you a little better perspective of the trail and how much faster Gwinn is compared to Privateers. https://www.pinkbike.com/video/476316/

@esstinkay: thanks bro, I post more stuff on YouTube than Pinkbike. Here is a pretty cool video I edited down Telonics in April, we had 11 riders, 2 drones, 1 camera man and 3 GoPros. I think action cams cant capture how steep and gnarly trails really are, I think the drone footage helped capture the terrain a little better. https://www.pinkbike.com/video/470059/

Me and my boys just rode Telonics on Sunday and it is definitely not as green as it is in this video. I have a drone video going down Telonics in April and wasn't even as green as it is in this video so it was probably shot several months ago. It was super dry and way too dusty this weekend but still one of my favorite trails. I just uploaded my run from Sunday on Pinkbike today. We had a train of 8 going down Telonics ....just a lot slower than Aaron Gwin

The Pros Weigh in on Carbon vs Aluminum Wheels - EWS Aspen 2017
@WParkMTB: Thanks for the props brotha. I have actually cracked 2 carbon frames. hahaha but both were due to major crashes (going over the cliff at Mt Wilson) no frame would have survived.

The Pros Weigh in on Carbon vs Aluminum Wheels - EWS Aspen 2017
@jgusta: I actually have 2 buddies with Nox hoops and both laced to Chris King hubs. Neither one has cracked theirs yet but I think both have only had them for about 12-18 months. I know they are both happy with theirs. I also have a buddy who has Nobl hoops laced to Onyx hubs and is really happy. I was deciding between Onyx hoops laced to I9 hubs or the I9 Enduro 305s. I decided on the I9s 305 Enduro because I just didnt want to deal with another cracked carbon rim and being off the bike for 3-4 weeks waiting for warranty. I9's use straight pull spokes vs J bend which makes them extremely stiff, just as stiff as my carbon wheels as far as I could tell. There is a weight penalty with aluminum rims but I have never been a weight wennie, Im the guy who strapped a coil shock the first week I bought my Intense T275 carbon 3 yrs ago. If my I9's fail on me I will definitely look into NOX,
