You are really going to blame Red Bull for poor diet habits? If you are going to get that radical they why not blame GoPro for giving kids stupid ideas for swiming with sharks, or jumping off of cliffs in a wing suit. Red Bull is fine in moderation as is everything else that gets FDA approval. And yes sports would evolve with out energy drinks, but you can't give them shit for helping growing them. I mean McDonalds is a huge sponsor for the Olympics, so is Coca-Cola. Whether you like it or not they are there and they are helping progression and making things happen that other wise wouldn't.

@upsyclez RedBull may not be the healthiest thing out there but they are the ones who push these sports to grow by helping put on these events, and developing these riders and helping making it possible to follow there passion, not to mention creating role models for thousands possibly millions of kids. Yes they are using riders to as "products for corporate marketing" but look at what it has done to our sport! Just Red Bull alone has given so much exsposure and helped the growth of mountain biking, if it wasn't for Rampage and Joyride brought to the public through RedBull Signature Series and all the youtube and other content they do the majority of people would think we are a bunch of spandex granola eating lame-o's (no offence to anyone I love my granola and understand the whole spandex thing though not for me) but they have helped get more people stoked on the sport we love enabling us to do incredible things, like X-Games for example. There can never be to many people stoked to ride. We all have the same passion for riding otherwise we would not be on Pinkbike having this conversation. Its ok if you dont like Redbull but you cant say they are bad for the sport. And besides you called it "Unhealthy and Dangerous" yet you mountain bike? More people get harmed on a daily basis from biking than anyone has drinking Red Bull.
