Whether you ride DJ's, XC, race BMX, or ride dual slalom, Eagle has something for you.

What's new at the Eagle Bike Park this year in Eagle Idaho near Boise? A 0.6 mile blue level flow trail, rebuilt expert dirt jumps and an expanded pump track. Local Lowe’s stores also completed a Lowe’s Heroes community project and installed a paved patio area next to the pump track. The Eagle Bike Park also offers miles of XC trails, an ABA BMX track with pro line, three freeride trails (beginner, intermediate and expert), three sets of dirt jumps (beginner, intermediate and expert), pump track, cyclocross, mountain cross course, short track XC, skatepark, and over 250 acres of land with room for more. The new flow trail was designed by Tom “Pro” Prochazka of Gravity Logic at Whistler and installed by Brad Stone of 402 Trails. It was a blast being able to showcase some of the terrain that Eagle Bike Park has to offer by making this edit of a local rider, Brant Havro.

Brant's seatbelt isn't the only thing he likes clicked. Here's a shot of him styling through the DJ line at Eagle Bike Park.

Checking out some unreal footage that my friend Rusty Hill captured with his quadcopter. He didn't buy that either, no he built it!

If you are ever in the area, make sure you bring your bike and check out what Eagle Bike Park has to offer! Enjoy this edit showcasing the Dj line and new Flow Trail!

I can officially say this about the dirtjumps: "Been there, Crashed that", but those AM/DH trails he was on are so fun!!!

You can still find Eric lurking around town at times. Occasionally he will just show up out of no where and kill a contest or something. He does ride mountain bikes now too. I rode dry creek with him once last summer. He works at another bike shop in town now. Cody works at a local outdoor store. We were just talking the other day about how we still have the exact same bikes from like 10 years ago lol. And Levi is now living it up as a mechanic/trainer at the Lumberyard in Portland. I made a video a few months back with some old footage I had that has a couple of these guys in it if you are interested: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNsGWiYUtAA

This was supposed to be a response to mutiny5050's post below. Guess I screwed up the reply and it ended up here in the middle of the comments for some reason....

Hit it a few years ago when visiting Boise. Rented bikes local as well. Thank your local lottery winner for building this park with his own winnings and providing it to riders with no access fee!
  • 4 0
The local lottery winner is definitely a big supporter of the park and helped fund part of the new flow trail this year. The entire community has pitched in though with over $250,000 in cash donations and grants as well as over 15,000 volunteer hours putting this place together. The city of Eagle has also been a huge supporter with about $1.5 million invested from them. They are the current managing agency of the park and have been for the last 3 years along with the local IMBA chapter BAMBA. A large portion of the start up money actually came from the road bikers in pursuit of a dream for a velodrome that fell apart with the collapse of the economy. A velodrome is one of the few things left that we don't have out there.

  • 3 0
Havent seen Eric for a few years, last I saw him he was working at Goerges on fairview, havent seen Ryan in years either. I was friends with him on FB then he disappeared.... both great riders on a bike or board.

Took a bmx road trip up there in 07' the scene you guys have up there is unreal. I can only imaging the underground downhill scene. Went to McCall too. Insane place. What abount Denis cody and Levi? Dont know their last names but on a BMX they owned it.
  • 1 0
The only name that sticks out to me personally is cody, was he a pretty big bulky kid? If so he is still dabbling in racing and is on a pro team. Did you ever get a chance to ride the golden wheel section? It was just off of fairview, and the lines and hits at the time were some of the bisggest ive seen. I was just getting into riding and learned from some of the best, I still remember looking at lips that were 2 feet over my head.
  • 1 0
no cody was skinny and crazy as hell, they were all BMXers. Probably long since moved on.

Accidentally posted this reply as a post too, trying again...

Go up North, our XC trails are more rocky then most DH tracks.
