One of the Italian classics and best all rounder racing wheelsets, the Fulcum Racing Quattro Carbon wheels incorporates all the advanced features developed for top of the line wheels, with extremely advanced uni-directional (UD) full carbon rim construction and a 3K braking surface, finished with Fulcum's 3Diamant Treatment. This wheelset is fast, stiff, aerodynamic, sprints quickly up to speed and will roll like no tomorrow. You will be laughing all the way to the PB bank, until you beg for it to stop. Speaking of stopping, the 3Diamant treated braking surface will stop you on a dime, so be careful not to get too taken away, because this wheelset will deliver what you ask for it to do. These weigh around 1470g for the set (yes, very light). Clincher wheels. Built up with aero, straight-pull, double butted spokes - 18 (front), 21 (rear). Ohhh, and of course, the hub sounds very nice, will put some fear in your riding mates. These wheels are in excellent condition, never been raced, there are no scratches, no dings and no chips. Wheels are nice and true. Braking surface is also excellent, they are still on their original pair of brake pads (I know... I have a few sets of wheels and they're begging for someone to ride them more). Pick these up as your racing wheels -start winning some crits and gran fondos, or if you're a weekend warrior, pick these up and start dropping your mates. These retail for around $2500 CAD + tax. Take them at a steal for $1450. Sad to see them go, but I live in a shoebox apartment and I need to downsize. Cassette and tires not included.
