Since 2010, the organization Promobike Verbier/St-Bernard, directed by Fabrice Tirefort aka "Trifon", is in charge of mountain biking development in the Verbier/St- Bernard area. It’s been a long road with many bumps and obstacles, but the MTB offer is now better than ever.

Our guidelines never change. Our motto is quality and diversity, not quantity . Riders agree, our ever changing tracks and new concepts are improving every day. Plus, our bikepark shapers are on the job 7 days a week. The bikepark had last season 5 DH tracks (1 blue, 2 red, 1 yellow and 1 black), which were created between 2010 and 2011, and were completed in 2013. Our goal is invent new tracks, improve existing ones and offer to our riders the quality and expertise they have come to appreciate
in Switzerland.

Our bikepark continues to build its outstanding reputation based on innovation, Swiss craftsmanship, and a never ending challenge to offer our riders “simply the best”.

In 2014, another major step will be taken with: 2 new red DH trails and 21 Enduro itineraries.

New DH tracks located between 2’475m and 2’200m.

One of two new tracks is already known by the Verbier’s aficionados, the « Rôdze « was built in September 2013 and a special weekend test was organized to ride and preview the « rough and ready » track.

The Rôdze looks like and feels like a real downhill BMX track. It has 65 jumps built to be accessible for all levels (4 to 5m long with progressive landing). The scenery was not left out either, at this altitude you have a magnificent view of the «Grand Combin» glacier and in the horizon is the famous "Dents du Midi", a legend in itself. Without doubt this new track will become famous. Length: 2’100m, elevation: 307m .

The other red track, the «Bortabitche» will be built for the 2014 season and will be a typical "Freeride" trail, the «flow» will be the main word with 200m of northshore through a giant stone garden, all of that just below the chairlift. Length: 1’330m, elevation: 227m.

Enduro / all-mountain itinerary:

The area is already known for its amazing trails through the different valleys of the Verbier area (i.e. Chapter of strength in numbers movie), but this discipline was practiced unofficially so far because of a blurred law on the possibility or not to ride the hiking trails. This season the official step will be taken with 21 enduro / all-mountain itineraries around the Valley of Bagnes.

These trails will be authorized for the MTB, we ask riders to respect the rules of conduct to keep this offer alive. The main rules are simple: priority to hikers, do not cut between switch backs and respect the signage.

These itineraries will be indicated by colors, like DH tracks: blue = beginner, red=advanced, black=expert. To save time and energy the postal bus and the mountain lifts will be available. Amongst the 206 km of trails, 75km are on «single track», the other km are on 4x4 roads.

The region will propose you more than 826 km of mountain bike trails with 500 km cross-country, 108 km of all-mountain with the Tour of Mont Fort, 206 km enduro itineraries and 12 km of downhill tracks.

All information will be available soon on verbierbikepark.ch with details, map, etc. ... and follow us on our FB page: facebook.com/verbierbikepark/

Hum stupid question: what the hell is a "yellow" track? That's the only one I can't figure out and of course the only one not being described.

some parts are red and some are black... In past years, lots of people come specialy to ride the Donwhill cup track, is for that the track is yellow. And is the only track with protection and race tape all long the track... a track for pure racers!
