Pinkbike Poll: What Do You Want to See in Videos?
less bike park, more single track, less product shots, more talent, less slow mo, more normal speed, no skidding on berms (it has been doen to death), no enduro.. period. unless its someone pushing a bike to its almost breaking point. just show biking. i could give a shit about the camera guys talent, or the editors talent. i want to se landscape, beautiful features and someone who looks like they are out for a great day out that is oozing talent... you can tell on a lot of these when they are having to get going becuase the camera man seen a berm that needed to be destroyed...

I realise this was supposed to be cute but it could be the stupidest article ever on pink bike. came in here expecting to see things like 'give the person coming up right of way'.. got 'make sure you socks match'... i throw on whatever is clean and doesn't have to many holes in it... anyone worried about this stuff isnt a biker anyways. just a douche that isnt going to be able to keep up anyways.

Movies For Your Monday
there is no hate here btw. dont interpret this as hate. but this is an MTB site and thus should stick to why we are all here. besides the fact i have apersonal issue with some of the personalities attracted to the sport recently a dirt bike is now almost cheaper than an MTB to get into. i would hate to loose riding buddies because a video on PB looked like fun... (joking a little)

Dd. it is opposite here. we have a strong trail building community. we have lost a few trails here in the last couple of years to motto. this year we decided to stop the bleeding and put motto stops in. the problem is we have steep terrain and the mottos create these ruts right in the middle. we measured one on a steep shoot this year and it was 2 feet deep. once the snow melts it just gets worse and before long we are having to reroute the trail another thing that we do is we put tight switch backs in near the bottom (DB's like to go up not down) this works for a little while but we have gone in to find reroutes on our trails. we do not use the motto trails. it is a respect thing and we put it out there. i can list at least 2 trails that we have lost because mottos took them over. as a matter of fact we where looking for an old line yesterday that had been abandoned. it is now called cherry picker and the db not own it. unfortunately we have had to get serious about keeping the mottos out. signs just dont seem to be enough. we have to do it from the time the trail is designs and be vigilant. the amount of erosion these things cause is unreal.
