Rock Shox Boxxer world cup

$100 GBP
Rock shox boxxer world cups. I think 2002 models, 178mm travel. The paint is quite badly scratched on one leg in particular, but the stanctions are wear and scratch free. Basically give them a service (if you want to) and stick some stickers on the legs and you have a cheap set of boxxers. Send me a message if your interested.

Pinkbike Poll: Electronic Components
Why wouldn't electronics be a good thing? Its just progression surely? I have a little collection of my past downhill bikes dating back to about 1995 (when I started downhilling). If I look at my bikes the developement is clear to see and the newer the bikes the quicker they are downhill. (don't give me any comments about a good rider being just as quick on any bike), I'm just an average rider and my Tomac is quicker than my Sintessi which is why I bought it (and they were both world cup standard bikes once). Point is I bought newer bikes as they allowed me to go down a hill faster, Electronically controlled suspension has the potential to react to terrain faster than mechanical, with that comes the potential to go faster. So just as suspension has progressed from an elastomer block electronics is just further developement, so long as its reliable it will sell.

Video: Sam Pilgrim - My Cross Country Loop
Thanks for a great video. I am trying to get back into xc from years of downhill and am trying to create a loop with something more interesting in it. Your video has given me the inspiration and encouragement I need. Fantastic.

First Look: Maxxis Tires, AClass Wheels, HT Pedals - Taipei Show
Good point that's an embarrassing typo, when i was typing i was still thinking about a 29x2.5 minion steamroller going down a hill so had maxxis on my mind. Really should read what ive typed first. The points still valid though i expect A-Class's stand got a lot of footfall because of those wheels. I think your spot on though they will definitely go the way of the dodo.

I looked at those wheels and like most comments thought.. A bit of a gimick What about mud? With that shape manufacturing expense will be high so expensive wheels. Is it solving a problem that isn't much of a problem? Then I thought there are a lot of comments about these wheels, I wonder how many people at the show are visiting the Maxxis stand because people are talking about it? Perhaps this is a brilliant move by Maxxis to encourage footfall to their stand. Maybe I am cynical?
