Charlie Hatton is a young UK racer with a bright future and in 2016, he'll be racing the full junior World Cup series and aims to successfully step into the Elite category the year after that. Charlie is far from arrogant, but he is however clear about what he wants to achieve and has his sights set on a factory team and a career racing World Cups.

Charlie Hatton pre-season testing at his local secret trails.
Charlie's local DH tracks might be short, but mark our words, they pack a lot in!

With a big year ahead of him, Charlie spent a day on the bike he'll race all season - the 2016 Nukeproof Pulse. He set out a short track near his home in the Forest of Dean and recruited his dad, Les to help with the uplifts. He knew his best time on his old bike and set out to smash it on the new one. As you'd probably expect, beating his hard-earned personal best didn't happen straight away and it took some tweaking, set up and adjusting to get the bike dialled in...

Hey guys - sorry - we mean that he "set out" a track as in he decided on a route down the hill that he'd use for his timed route. Not that he built that track. "he set out a track that he would time himself on". Make sense?
